Chapter 6-1

2283 Words

Chapter 6 The Robinson trial had gone well, and Casey was able to leave the courthouse around 3:00. Rather than heading back into the office, he decided to take the rest of the day off. Hopefully, Cooper had had a good day at school, and he could take him out for ice cream or something. He was also anxious to hear about Paul’s meeting with the teacher. It would likely be just about over by the time he got home, and maybe his brother would have a few minutes to fill him in before he headed out to Grifter’s for the evening. Luckily, traffic was light, and he was hopeful his commute would be more like an hour and a half instead of two hours. He had classical music playing on the radio, which was soothing and reminded him of learning to play Mozart and Bach next to his mom on the piano bench.
