“Yes. Cooper did very well with it. He earned all of his stickers. Another teacher, the one who introduced the idea to me, said that it’s common for students to do really well at first, and then have a bit of a falling off period before it starts to work again. The actual chart that Cooper used today is in his desk. I can send them home at the end of the week, if you’d like. That way, you’ll have some more specific information about what’s happening, as opposed to just the color chart we use every day.”
“That would be great. Thank you.” He smiled at her but it was uneasy, and she could see there was more he wanted to say, so she waited while he formulated a question. “He’s the only one you have to do this for?” he asked slowly.
