The Bite of Revenge

My life is pretty normal, I go to work, come home, you know, your typical all-American life. That is, until I went camping with some friends during 4th of July weekend, but I'll get to that later. Right now, let me break down my life: in a nut shell, I live in Los Angeles, California and I work at Bloomingdale's as a sales clerk and I'm proud to say that I've worked here for five years. I love my job, but management refuses to give me a promotion, which I've been asking for for months now and it's getting to the point now where I'm asking myself whether or not I'm wasting my time. My friend Alison says I should stick it out and be patient, but I'm not so sure. One side of me says she's right, the other half says to hell with it, I can find something better. Anyway, as you can see, I'm not exactly sure, of myself right now, but what the hell right? I still enjoy my job, but it's a pain in the ass trying to convince management that I have what it takes to be a floor manager. Even though I'm in a slump now, I'll show everyone who the real alpha is around here. My name's Anna Anderson, and I'm coming for you.
