Gabriella in the University

As a mechanical engineering student, Gabriella had some tough times in the university because she encountered new terms and had to tackle some difficult calculations. She had made up her mind that she wasn't going to have a carryover in any of her courses and so she kept studying and working hard towards actualizing her dreams.

It had been a very rough and stressful day for Gabriella. She had just walked out of the library heading towards her lodge which was off-campus. It was well furnished with rug, TV, and all the expensive thing you could think of. Her father had taken it upon himself to pay for security who regularly watched over the house at night. She had walked for about 5 mins from the library when she ran into Anna, her bestie who was in the department of Architecture. Anna was a very beautiful, tall, dark and intelligent lady. She was very skilled when it came to drawing and sketches.

"You look so tired Ella" Anna said

"Yeah, I'm just coming from the library" Gabriella replied

"I thought as much. But try not to overwork yourself ok. Your Academic performance for the past two years with a CGPA of 4.7 and 4.9 respectively is great. You should try to get some rest ok" Anna advised

"I'll do that. That reminds me, I'm doing my Industrial training (IT) at Andy's Automobile"

"Really! Wait a minute, that's Engineer Andy's company right?"

"Yes Anna"

"Great choice. I'm sure you'll learn a lot. I heard his first son works in that company of his"

"That's true. His name is Jude"

"Have you told Engr Andy about this?"

"Yes I have. And he is in total agreement. He even promised me a good paying job there when I graduate"

"Ah great. But I'm sure the school would want to retain you because you are a first class lala"

"Come off it Anna, I've not graduated yet. And besides I want to be a Mechanical Engineer and not a lecturer"

"That's fine. If you say so. Have you eaten Ella?"

"Not yet. And the most thing is that I have not prepared anything"

"It's not an issue. I made melon soup, so let's buy Satana so we can eat it with the soup" Anna said

"Thanks, let's go"

They walked towards Anna's hostel which was about 10 mins walk from Gabriella's hostel.

Gabriella had just concluded her IT at Andy's Automobile and it was a very good success. She had a very good working relationship with Jude which even yielded to him engaging her. All that was left was for her to graduate and become part of Engr Andy's family and she was working towards it and also towards becoming a first class lala as Anna often said.
