Can you here me?
“Miss...can you lift your head?” A brown-haired teen asked a girl huddled on the floor. She appeared to be covered in blood. Like always the girl didn’t move or reply. The background started to change from white to a mixture of reds and blacks behind the child. Yet stayed white behind the brown-haired teen. “Miss?” The teen repeated. There was a song that made her feel at peace yet also filled with a sense of dread.
“My goddess, when are you coming?Where do you rest Moon Goddess?
Little goddess, can you see me?Can I grow within your light?
Even now you are silent,
Please, goddess, help your children
Your children have lost their way
Have you forsaken us?
My goddess, can you see me now?Can I find your light once more?
Little goddess, I hope one day we are found.
The teen awoke with a startled gasp for air. She was in her same old room with the same old scratchy bedding. She dreaded going to sleep because she would always see the same thing and yet ever be able to reach the girl or get any answers. The singing was new. Maybe her sight was growing? Though that’s unheard of for an adult witches power to grow stronger once they have turned 19. The witch shook that thought from her head. She had a hard time to keep her sight hidden from her captors. Thankfully her sudden fright hadn’t woken up the other imprisoned witches with her. They don’t like any disturbance to their few hours of sleep each night. Still feeling a little sleepy the teen tried to get some more sleep. Though it had never happened before when she had the same dream in the past.
