Maria noticed that a while ago, Lilah had begun to stop receiving exp when she hit level 26. She didn't understand why at first, but now that she leveled up and was informed that Lilah had also leveled up alongside her, she understood something.
Pets in Unitale couldn't be more than 10 levels above their masters. It was a bummer for Maria since with all the high leveled monsters she was killing, that huge amount of experience would have power leveled Lilah by quite a lot if such a restriction
