A Girl Called Jennery

Chapter One Dearest reader, this story is all about a young determined lady by name Jennery. Jennery is a 21 years old young woman who has the dreams of becoming a top fashion designer in the world. it all began in a small village named Anioma, there was a little girl called Jennery, she was born to the family of Mr and Mrs Virginus and Evelyn. Jennery was a dark skinned chubby little girl endowed with beauty, height and talents and skills for fashion designing. Fashion designing wasn't her only skill but she also has the best skills for cooking and baking. At age 10 she was able to create a little restaurant where she prepared different kinds of delicious foods and she was marked as the best chef in Anioma. Her father is a Driver while her mom was a business woman who deals with selling raw food stuffs and Jennery was their one and only daughter and child of her family. Jennery attended the best private school in Anioma and was a top scholar in her school. At age 15 she was done with high school and graduated with the best results. she loves to sing, dance, cook, and drawing of design drafts.She wrote her first Jamb(Joint Administration Management Board) examination in which she would be able to get into college. she passed with the highest score in Nigeria with about 357 total. she got a scholarship to study in UNN( University of Nigeria Nsukka) which is located in Enugu State. After the good news was past down to her and her family, she promised her self that she would work hard to become the best fashion designer in Nigeria and the world after school. Her parents gave her their blessings and also gave her some essential advice that will help to motivate her in school and also some money for other school stuff. She left for school, on her arrival she met a good friend of hers from her village named Rita and luckily they were set to be in the same hostel and room, both were overjoyed and soon they became best of friends. 6 months after Jennery joined college, she met a guy named Judah who had pursed her after meeting her in the school library. Judah was a 3rd year student in the faculty of science, he is studying Medicine and surgery while Jennery is a 1st year student in the faculty of Arts education, she is studying Fashion designing. Jennery decided to give Judah a chance since he had been pursuing her for sometime, so she agreed to his request and they started dating. though she might be dating Judah but she didn't loose any focus in her studies, she scheduled times for school, herself, prayers and her relationship with Judah. Judah found it absorb that Jennery wasn't paying most of her attention to him but she chose to focus it on studying and at that point he decided to do something about it. Judah didn't want Jennery to focus her attention on studying, all he wants is a girl he could control but our girl Jennery wasn't that kind of girl he expected to meet. In order make her loose focus on studying he chose to disturb her with calls and text during her study hours but Jennery wasn't having it at all and she decided to do something about it before it gets out of hand. First she talked with her best friend Rita about how Judah has been disturbing her during her study session, Rita found it very strange and advised Jennery to ask him about his recent behaviour, Jennery agreed to ask Judah about his behaviour to know his response. The next day Jennery called Judah and asked him to meet at the school's Love Garden in the evening, he agreed to meet up with her. Already Judah thought that Jennery called him to spend some time with him but his expectations failed. Dearest reader, you know that when a wise man chooses his life decisions carefully with determination they barely deviate from it but a lazy and an unwise man tend to make wrong decisions. Judah was not wise but was only a lazy man that depends on his parents for survival. Judah arrived at the place his girlfriend had asked him to meet up. He came early because he was curious to know why his girlfriend had called him. Jennery arrived 10 minutes later and she apologised for being late and he forgave her. They sat down after exchanging greetings and then Jennery began to ask him why he began to disturb her during her study hours and Judah was surprised because he didn't expect Jennery to notice how he disturbed her during her study sessions and he began to think of what to tell her to make her believe him so he decided to lie to her by telling her that he just missed her a lot and wanted to spend sometime with her. Jennery was feeling a bit flustered by his response, and she thought to herself about his response being a bit off because he saw her everyday in school all the time, so she concluded that she would confide in her friend Rita again about his response. Judah used the opportunity to ask her visit him in his lodge on Saturday so they can spend some time together but before she went back to hostel he managed to steal a kiss from her but he never knew that Jennery just received her first kiss from him that evening. Jennery returned back to the hostel and she explained everything to Rita. Rita also found it strange also but advised Jennery to be careful if she is going to visit Judah on Saturday. in the following days Jennery continued to study hard with a strong determination and most of the lecturers often praised her for her excellent performance in her studies. Most students in her department often became Jealous of her success and thus began to plot evil against her in order to ruin her reputation. A girl named Bella in Jennery's department planned to get rid of Jennery out of spite and jealousy. Bella decided that on a Sunday evening would be the best time to deal with her. she paid some boys a sum of 5 million naira to kidnap Jennery and thus rapping her in the process. On Saturday morning Jennery prepared herself and went to Judah's lodge to visit him. she arrived early in order for her to leave on time and also she came with extra money incase if her transportation money wasn't going to be enough. Judah was happy because he had his own plans about what he was gonna be doing to Jennery that day. He welcomed Jennery into his lodge and made her comfortable in his room, he asked her if he could offer her any refreshments and she requested for a glass of water. Judah went to get a glass of water for our girl Jennery and he also added some aphrodisiac drugs into her cup and gave the spiked water to Jennery. she drank the water without any doubts and Judah told Jennery that he was going to the bathroom to take a shower. He wanted to give her sometime so that the drugs will work out on her effectively. While Judah was in the bathroom Jennery noticed that Judah spiked the water he gave her so she decided to leave immediately before the drugs became more effective on her she used the opportunity to carry her things and fled through the back door of his lodge and soon she found a cab that took her to the hospital. There she was when she called Rita to come to the hospital immediately. Meanwhile Judah whom had been rejoicing in his mind came out and saw that his prey had escaped. He was scared and he tried calling Jennery on the phone but he couldn't reach her. Judah becomes scared because he knew that his plan had failed and he didn't know what to do at the moment.
