Catarina’s POV
I had to get out of here. I had to find my kids. I knew Jeff had them I just wasn’t sure where and I needed help. I didn’t trust my mates at the moment. They had me drugged and I blame them for all of this. If I hadn’t gone on a run, I would have been there to protect them and Mary.
I got out of the hospital bed, ripped the IV out of my arm, and took off. I was still in a hospital gown. I had to get home and get some clothes and my weapons, and I needed to call Sarah and Julie. I had to tell them about Mary and see if they would help me. I made it to my room. I found Mary’s body still in the living room. I kneeled down beside her.
“Mary, I am so sorry. You didn’t deserve this. You did everything for me and the boys, and I promise I will kill him. I will make him suffer.”
