Elliana POV The only sounds in my room were the beeps and hums of the monitors until I heard the door creak open again. Footsteps headed for my bed and there was a slight tug at the tube connected to my IV. I couldn’t pick up a single scent. I didn’t think too much of it at first, nurses were in and out of here nonstop, until they touched me. A hand slid down my cheek gently, and I wanted so badly to pull away from the stranger touching me. Then, whoever it was, turned and left the room, shutting the door behind them.
