Chapter 6 Bein Genesee had no recollection when she fell asleep. Once they entered the forest, the voices in her head went silent, giving her a moment of peace and quiet. Add the carriage’s gentle side-to-side sway that soothed and comforted her, and she succumbed to her own exhaustion. When she awoke, she noticed night had fallen, and they were still on the road.
