Sam Goes Home

Sam's POV I set and watch the little Dr for the next three days she is a great mom. She is the right amount of love and authority to her children. They adore her the love they show her is unfounded with her not even been their really mom. I have learned in the past couple of days that their real mother was much more strick and their father was abusive. Since my little queen took over the village has become a much more livable place. That is why everyone loves the queen so much, because she cares about everyone so much.  She is always trying to make everything better for everyone else she really is an angel.  These kids adore her, the queen makes time for both of these kids too.  With her daughter Izzy she plays dolls, lets her help cook, reads her bedtime stories, roasts marshmallows, and sleeps with her every night.  With Lucas she practices the crossbow, plays video games and talks late into the night with.  When they do something that breaks a rule there is a punishment but no abuse, they do understand what they have done wrong though.  She is the mother I always wished I had growing she is loving, caring, and stern when she needs to be. 

 After the three days is up, we are taking the kids back to the mainland while Izzy is helping the little Dr drive the boat.  Lucas comes over to me and asks, “what is wrong with you?  You have been staring at my mother for three days and I do not like the way you are looking at her.”

I look at him with a smile and say, “I do not see her as a lover but as a queen that needs worshiped and adored.  I have a wife and a child on the way I followed your mother for.  All I see when I look at your mom is someone that have, I should hope will look upon me with her grace and love.  I see only a giver, someone who is worth everyone’s times and attention.”

He looks at me and nods agreeing with everything I have just said. He then looks at me and says, “I am trusting you to take care of her the next time she leaves you say you are her warrior.  If so, you must lay down your life for her are you willing to do that, to sacrifice your self for her.  I hope you are I have a feeling that she is going into great danger.”

Once we get to town we leave the children with Reta and she tells us of the new things that are happening in the village, of everyone’s health, what supplies the village is running low on, who is causing trouble and why, and what is in need of repair.  She tells Lucas what he needs to do and hands out a couple other orders to people I do not know then says we can leave now.

As we walk back to the boat, she says her goodbyes to the towns folk, and we arrive at the boat she tells the dock master to expect a load for the town.  Then we climb onto her boat and head to the island.  Once there she tells me to take nothing anything, we need we will get there.  The less weight in the plane the faster it will fly.  I look at her and say do you think I am fat or what acting like I have been shot in the heart.  She just shakes her head and me and giggles.  Goddess I love that giggle there is nothing better in this world.  I cannot wait for the pack to hear her giggle or see how much she truly cares.  We walk to the plane both climb in and I ask her if she can fly the tell me yes, the sun should stay down the whole flight.  The flight is only 11 hours we will be fine we should arrive just before light and it still is not bothering me that bad at least not yet anyways.  The flight may seem long but not really, I tell her somethings she needs to be aware of when we get there to let me do the talking.  I will try to get us in before things go to crazy.  I do not want anyone to get hurt if we can pull this off without anyone dying it will be a good day.  We fly peaceful for the rest of the flight just before we reach the territory, I tell her to land at a plane strip that belongs to wolves and we will walk the rest of the way.

We land the plane and start walking towards the territory I tell her she should let me shift and ride on by back.  She shakes her head and said we will meet this head on together.  We walk to the edge of the territory we are stopped by some massive wolves I look at them and ask them to shift. Against there own will they do turn their heads to me, and she asks them to please tell Liam that the Dr is that boarders and she would like to see him before the sun comes up.  She looks at me and say to please connect with Aaron and see if he can help speed this along.

The next thing we know Liam is standing right in front of me with his hand around my thought.  I grab Casey and shove her behind me, and she lands on her butt lets out a little welp.  We all stop and look at her little frail body sitting on the ground with tears in her eyes looking at all of us with shock on her face.  Liam drops me and runs to her side everyone just stands and watches with curiosity on their faces. I get up on one knee with a smile on my face while I rub my neck.

Casey’s POV

We arrive at the border and are stopped by the biggest meanest wolves I have ever seen.  I step forward and say something that shocks even myself I say shift please.  Then they do, they are looking at me weird I ask them to tell Liam that the little Dr is here, I turn to Sam and as him to get Aaron.  The next thing I know I am being shoved to the ground I fall to the ground and land on my butt.  I let out a welp and everything stops, and everyone is looking at me. I look to my left Liam is at my side, and on my right is Aaron.  Where did he come from, I did not even see him show up. I set here with this look on my face when I hear Liam let out a low growl saying get away.  I stand up to start backing away not sure what to do when he grabs me and pulls me to his chest.  I try to push off him to get away it just is not working it is like being trapped between two brick walls I cannot do anything until I feel it there it is the sun it is coming up over the horizon I can feel my skin starting to burn.  I notice Liam look down at me and smell the smoke his eyes grow big and he takes off running I yell Sam he turns to follow is stopped by the big wolves I yell again this time I am scared Liam looks down at me and the next thing I know I hear Sam and Aaron coming behind us.  I say I need the dark please just for a few minutes then we can talk please.  I look up at him into his eyes and smile at him.  He nods his head and goes up stairs to a very dark room we enter he sets me down, turns and tell Sam and Aaron to stand outside where two other men join them.

I looked at Liam and say, “I am sorry I left you back in Washington.”

Liam stops me and says, “are you ok let me see your arms and your face.” He grabs my arms then puts my face in my hands looking me over closely making sure I am not hurt too bad.

I pull away and say, “hey I am talking to you.  There is nothing wrong with me I am already healing that is what I need to tell you.  Please look at me, I say that I am a quick healer see everything is all better.  Now please listen to me.  I am not just a human and I know what you are and what you want me for.  You scare me and I do not know what I was supposed to do with how intense you were, so I did what came nature to me I ran.”

He stood there looked at me and say, “I am sorry for my behavior the way I acted was not ok.  But the things you do to me I cannot explain it you drive my wolf crazy.  It is hard for me to contain him sometimes, that day he just got the better of me and I did not know what to do.  What do you mean you are not human?  What are you then, why did no one tell me you were something different?”

I looked at him and said, “because no one knew I was a different and I do not know what I am.  I cannot do anything special like you I cannot change or anything I just do not die that is all.”  Then I yawn I feel myself getting heavy, I start to go down.

Liam grabs me and says “Sam”, he runs in the door and Liam says, “when was the last time she was in bed?”

Sam looked at me I shock my head and he replied, “she has been up about 25 hours straight.”

Liam says, “you are supposed to take care of her what kind of warrior are you to let her get in this shape.”

Sam looks at me and says, “my queen I am sorry.”

I smile at him as I slowly pass out into Liam’s arm.
