The Secret She Never Knew

The Unknown Watcher

I set back and watch from afar I watched as that long-haired woman took her from that orphanage and placed her in the first foster home.  I saw that first woman shove her into the light just to watch her cry in pain.  I listened to the nights full of tears until she passed out from exhaustion. The next few years I see as they put cigarettes out on her abdomen.  When that one man gets mad because she eats food that is not hers and shaves her head.  When that very religious woman tries to beat the demons out of her.  The little firefly was never given a chance to know what love or happiness was. She did find a way out at some point and I lost her for a few years.  In her absents I found something else I did not know I was even looking for.  He was a great choice I cannot believe that no one sees what he is.  I will have fun getting these two to where they need to be.  Through the pain they will see the truth. 

Once again, I find my little firefly graduating early then, off to college where she graduates early again to a career that seems strange to me.   But she ends up somewhere very unexpected a werewolf village where she saves someone.  You would think her being an outsider the wolves would have kept a stranger away.  For some reason they have accepted her, without letting her know who they are.  How very curious keeping their secret but having her stay.  Not to shift is painful for a wolf, not to howl at the moon, to control that rage that they have for one simple little human girl. 

I report back to her I tell her of the pain, the abuse, the suffering, and everything the little firefly suffers in vain. I tell her there are no signs she is just human.  The XP that she was diagnosed with does seem to be getting worse with her age.  She only comes out at night like some kind of filthy vampire.  She still continues to work for werewolves and seems to have no idea about it.  She goes somewhere that I cannot follow, and I do not understand why.  Something is blocking my sight from her I know she goes north, but any farther than that I would have to physically follow.  I would then take a chance of being spotted and she must never know of my presents.  No until I am told different by the master, I do not know why we are still watching the little firefly though she has no abilities she is useless to the master.  The master says there still maybe one out there, so I watch like a good soldier.  I do however get to make the Black family still suffer though.  That Alpha son is so easy to trigger, I have sent that farther and son after him just to see how far I could push him.  I have fun seeing him try to figure out how these two idiots keep evading him.  With my instruction the father son team are just always out of the reach of the Alpha’s reach.  This game of tag with him will end someday and I will have to reveal myself but not before his losses his pack.

The Unknow Masters POV

I have sent out my trackers to all of the children that were left at the orphanages to be raised by humans.  None of them are showing any signs of being supernatural.  How could ten children all be human.  Having many lovers of many different species of supernatural’s to get the perfect offspring.  You would be led to believe that one of them would come out supernatural.  The one we left on the east coast I would have thought to be the one but seeing as she has a human disease.  It is very unlikely that she has any special skills.  I have her being watched by my greatest trophy.  The untouchable phoenix that is the last of his kind keeping him as a pet was always my greatest trick.  There are things about him that are like no other creature out there, his skills are the reason that I have remained hidden all these years.  That is also the reason that I gave him the one I thought had the most potential be pose the powers that I need.  The things of my past are far worse than anyone really knows, I have made deals and promises that will cost more than just my life and I am not ready to die just yet.  I just need to find my one special supernatural to keep me hidden and command my army. 

Dexter walks in to tell me he has more information on the little vet.  He tells me that the vet’s shop had some visitors who are looking for her.  Then he tells me it is the Blacks how could they know about her.  I thought you said she had been know where near them.  He then tells me the last little wolf the vet took care was in the Dimond Crest Pack that is when she met the Black family.  The Luna of the pack is a Black, her daughter became very sick.  The little vet came to heal her with modern medicine, it worked she is now cured and back to her life.  So, he asks what do you want me to do about the Blacks, well we need to keep her away from them until we are sure she does not have your skills.  Dexter says she may never show any signs if she never mates that is what makes them manifest.  He says I had to find you to find my skills and the more I was with you the stronger they became.   He tells me I always bring out the best in him, like usually he tries to be romantic even though it never works.  I do not love him and really have never loved anyone.  He is just a tool I am using to get to what I want, even though he thinks I am his mate.  I cannot mate for life I live to long I learned a long time ago that everyone dies I just need to set myself up to survive after everyone dies.  

Dexter looks at me and says I may have a plan to eliminate the Blacks for good.  It would just require some of my warriors to help him fight.  He tells me that Black has sent a message to the vet at the vet shop and he wants to reply to meet.  Then at the meeting Black could have an accident and meet an end.  He could be told to only bring certain people as he has already scared her once before.  She would want a very controlled environment for her meeting.  I looked at Dexter and asked what he was up to then he told me that the Black’s have always been a problem and need taken out.  He would enjoy nothing more then getting rid of them for good, or at least the most dangerous ones. He said he wished I would let him take out the old wolf he needed to die just as much as that horrible son.

I remind him that Arthur has his purposes he needs to be kept alive.  I have a plan for him that will send him over the edge and kill his wife all at the same time.  It will be justice well served after what he did to the queen.  We just need to make sure that no know who we are until we are ready if Dexter could perform the plan without being noticed or it being traced back to us then I am find with it.
