The Alpha's Reaction

I left the little Dr setting in the cafeteria heading to find out why my men are treating my guess so poorly that is not how we behave in the Diamond Moon pack.  As I take the elevator up, I find Aaron and Sam both standing there ready to attack whoever comes through the doors.  Stopping themselves very quickly once they see me, they bow.  The first thing I ask is where is the Doc they both look at me like I have just asked them to fly. 

Sam says, “in her office, I guess.”

I reply, “are you absolutely sure about that with a look that says I know different.”

Aaron sprints down the hall throws open the office door then runs across the hall finding no one only my angel in the bed.  He steps into the hall shaking his head singling that I am right.  I then turn to Sam and ask, “what were you are saying about knowing where the Dr is.”

Sam replies, “she was just in her office looking at one of those machines that spins the blood or something.  She has not spoken to us since she asked up to let you know she wanted to meet tonight.  I swear Alpha we would have never let her wonder off along.”

I asked Sam why they were mistreating the Dr.

Sam tells me Alpha we would never do that to you we know how important this woman is to helping Sara.  We would never lay a finger on her did she say otherwise if so, I will.

I reply, “you will do nothing that is what you will do.  Your tone is not at all what I would say should be watching my daughter.  Maybe I should move you to watching the boarders a few nights out running may be the best thing for you to be out in the cold and rain.”

Sam instantly starts begging no Alpha no please you know that is where you send everyone you are mad at.  I will do whatever you want please do not send me out there.  I will search the whole territory looking the for the Doc I will know within the next few mins where she is.

I tell him not to worry that I know right where she is.  I left her safe in the cafeteria and that he is going to set with her and make sure nothing else happens to her.  It is his job to make her feel welcome here.  We need her to understand that we are not some cult that she needs to go tell the world about.  I then tell him that I pick him and Aaron for this job because I know that they were the strongest of the men.  That they could bare the weight of this responsibility, of this task.  Then I ask if my trust was misplaced.

Sam instantly said, “of course not I am up to any task you ask of me my Alpha.”

I reply, “then why are you still standing here, with one eyebrow raised.”

He then takes off like his ass is on fire.  I chuckle softly shaking my head know that boy is too strong for his own good. I next see Aaron almost at the top of the hall again.  I tell Aaron that he should stay and watch my little angel. 

Aaron asks how the Luna is doing I inform him that she will be much better after tonight.  Finding out what is wrong with Sara will help to settle her wolf.  That she is still not able to attend the meeting as she is still having trouble with the Dr being town.  I just do not understand why this one little Dr is so hard for my love to be around.  That is the real reason these two men are here.  To keep my Luna away from this little human Dr, she is sending my wife’s wolf into overdrive.  I have never seen her this way if she does not get better, I am going to have to call her brother and God know no one wants that monster here.  He will kill everyone with no remorse and not care that Sara’s life will hang in the balance.

After talking to Aaron, I see Sam walks back up the hallway informing me the Dr is with Sara.  Then I hear my baby in my head asking her if she is ok.

Sara replies “yes daddy but who is this strange woman that is touching me.” 

Ron responds, “just let her do her work she is only there to help you angel do you feel any pain or need me to tell her anything when I meet with her (Dr) tonight.” 

“Why at night is she dangerous daddy will she hurt me daddy I am getting scared,” Sara questions.

“No, no honey I told you she is a Dr she just has a few medical problems of her own just look at her does she look threating”

“No daddy she is bearing her neck in submission, but still keeping an eye on me.”

“Then what does that mean sweety that she will not hurt you so let her do what she needs.  I will come by later to check on you, but remember you must stay in your wolf form at all times if it gets hard let me know and Dr Allen will help keep you from shifting again ok,” I reply.

“Yes, daddy whatever you say I love you daddy,” Sara says.

After telling my daughter good-bye I had to get ready for my meeting with Dr. C in about 2 hours.  I decide to make a stop by the house and check on my Lilly letting her know that our baby is awake.  Walking into the house I find Lilly running around trying to keep busy to distract her wolf so she can get a little relief.  I understand having your wolf tearing your insides trying to come forwards and take over is painful.  Walking in I lean against the door frame watching her run her small hands over the shoulders of the mannequin.  I see she is making another dress for our daughter for some ball that Lilly is most likely coming up with for Sara when she gets better.  That is one of her greatest strengths always being able to see the positive even in the darkest of times.  Being my personal ray of sunlight.  She catches me starring at her and lets out a low growl drawing me from my thoughts I just smile at her and laugh a little.  One of the good things about her animal side being more present was that her s****l drive has increased tenfold.

As I stand there, she comes running over to me throwing her arms around my neck smashing her lips to mine.  I reach down picking her by her thighs and smashing her to the wall.  She rubs her tongue over my bottom lip begging for entrance into my mouth.  I slowly open my mouth where she forces her tongue in fighting for dominance with me.  I slowly start running my hands over her body bringing my hands to the collar of her shirt tearing it down the middle exposing her very perky n*****s that needed to be squeezed.  Grabbing a hand full of her breast playing with her n*****s between my fingers squeezing each on a little at a time getting a moan to escape her lips.  I carried her over to the couch throwing her over the arm.  Pulling my shirt over my head I look down at her like she is a meal that I cannot get enough of.  I slowly climb over the top of here as her legs wrap around me we start kissing again only this time I sneak my tongue into her mouth taking over laying between her legs I run one hand down her thigh reaching back grabbing her ass and squeezing.  She moans again making me start pushing against her.  I can feel how hot and wet she is calling to me, begging me to take her.  I cannot wait anymore I must have her right here and right now.  I can feel my membrane ready to tear through my pants to get to wet founds.  I take my hand and put it between her legs sliding my fingers inside her slowly listening to her moans keep getting louder and louder.  Until I can feel her body start to tense.  I gently pull out taking off my pants and thrusting into all at once.  She lets out a loud scream digging her nails into my back causing me to let out a low growl.  I start picking up my pace I take one hand and grab her breast squeezing her n****e again.  While I gently kiss the spot where my mark is on her feeling her orgasm I ride her through it picking up my pace again I feel myself  getting close to finishing I go as fast as I can bring her to another orgasm and just as she is about to beak I slow my pace so that we can finish together.  We both finish at the same time only to hear a knock on the door telling us that it is 10 pm and I only have an hour before I meet with the Dr.  I tell Hank that I will get cleaned up and meet him outside in 30 mins.  I need a shower and something to eat I have not eaten all day with everything that has been going on.  I look at Lily and ask her if she can make me something quick after she cleans up, she agrees only the whole time she is scolding me for not eating.  I smile as I walk up stairs to take a quick shower and grab my dinner.  I finish my shower head down to the kitchen where Lily is waiting with a small meal, I scarf down the food while waiting for her to ask her question.

She looks at me and says fine I will ask, “that Dr are you sure is the best option for our daughter?  Are you sure can fix my little girl?  I do not understand why I cannot be around her I am trying my hardest to figure out what is going on Ron honey I just do not understand why my wolf wants to be near her. 

I ask are you sure that is all your wolf wants or does it want to kill her.  When the Dr arrived you told me your wolf was ready to attack the thing that entered into our lands but the only thing that has entered has been the Dr and you are still on edge while the Dr is still here.  Again, I say yes I believe this Dr has the answers we need to help out little one and I plan on getting them tonight.”

She tells me she loves me before I leave the house, she kisses me on the check wishing my luck.  I kiss her on the forehead and walk out the door to find Hank looking at his watch tapping his foot.  I tell him that I am the Alpha if I want to be late I can he reminds me that I not an Alpha to this human and she does not have to respect me that way.  I let out a growl as we walk to the fountain.

    Casey’s POV

I as setting in the office when there is a knock on my door, I get up to answer the door to find Sam standing there looking at the floor twisting his fingers.  I ask him what he needs and that he can look at me he will not die from looking at.  I am not medusa you will not turn to stone form my sight, lol.

As Sam came in, I walked up to him grabbed his chin lifting his head so he could see my face only to have him gasp in shock.  “Asking what was wrong if there was something on my face or if he was hurt.” 

He said, “no you are just so beautiful I would never have guessed you looked like an angel.  Then he asked if Ron or Hank had ever seen me.” 

I replied “no, no one here as ever seen my face.” 

He told me that since it was dark, I needed to leave as much of myself uncovered as I could so that Ron and Hank could see what I looked like.  That what I looked like might mean something to them and that it was really important for them to see me.  I agreed not quite understanding why my looks mattered so much if Sam thinks it needs to be done then I see no harm in it.  Sam also said that we had about 30 mins before we were to meet Ron. We needed to get going if we were going to make it on time.  I gathered up the paperwork that I needed, and we headed out.  After about 10 mins of walking we reach the fountain where we wait for about 5 mins before Ron shows up apologizing for being late, before he looks at me in shock asking if I am wearing a mask or anything to change the way I look I say no why should I hide the way I look is there something wrong with it. 

Ron tells me, “you just look like someone that we thought was gone that has been missing for several years that left all of them very concerned about the state of things.”

I stand there with a weird look on my face saying I have no idea what he is talking about but that is not why I am here that I am only here to help the cub.  If he would like to know what I have found I would be more then willing to tell him.  He shakes his head in agreement wanting to know what I have found.  I set down and pat the bench next to me trying to get him to join me when he does, I open the folder and show him the cub’s belly.  I tell him what I am showing him and what should and should not be in the picture.  He points to a big white space on the film and I say yes that is the problem it is cancer and if untreated it will kill her.   He wanted to know why no one else could determine that and how I figured it out.

I tell him that at first the cancer is really hard to see that the film was the 12th film that I took before I got this view.  It is hiding in her intestine and that I have a treatment, but he needs to understand that this treatment will cause this little cub access amounts of pain that will last several days even months.  I can and will do it if he so chooses and I have her prep and ready to go.  I will need to start immediately to keep it from spreading any farther. 

He looked at me and said, “so you need an answer right now I cannot think about this for even a day you must start that soon.”

I shook my head telling him if he wanted her to live then yes but I would have no long then a few hours to decide if she lived or died.  If the little cub was really that important, he should not need any time to think about it he should know the answer.  Hank then asked what the treatment will be.  I told him that I would start with chemo and radiation shrinking the cancer to a tamable level then I would go in and take out all the infected or deaden areas so new could heal and grow.  The chemo and radiation should only take 8 to 12 weeks and the surgry would only take about 8 hours.  That I had all of the medicine to start but would need to order more in a week so I could finish the treatments.  I also needed a place to stay with a bed a shower that staying at the hospital would not work for long term.

Ron tells me to start ASAP and a room would be found for me to stay in, but I would have to get comfortable with Sam and Aaron staying with me as long as I am here.  He just had one question me for though, “He wanted to know if anyone else had ever truly seen my face and hair down together.”

I tell him, “No the sun just never aloud it.  The only reason you are, is because Sam thought that you needed to know what I looked like, I just want to know why I was so important.  What do you see when you see me?  I am nothing special, I have nothing special about me.  I could just blend into any place that I went to if it were not for the sun.”

He told me, “that I looked like someone that all of his people looked to as a queen.  This woman would help them with problems that seemed to cripple the entire community.  Then one day there was an accident that caused the wonderful woman to leave without a trace.  She left behind a husband and even a daughter not to mention everyone who thought her to be the queen.”

I tell him, “I am no queen I am just a simple little girl that loves animals.  I came from a place a violence, ugly people full of hatred, and immense amounts of pain.  That I would be the one to suffer through.  I had no one to save me and no one cared if I lived or died.  Until I decided to go out on my own and I have been on my own ever since.  Never looking back never wanting to see any of those people again.”

My job is only to keep your little wolf alive to be some queen that you think I look like.  But I will let Sam and Aaron stay with me I turn to the boys and say I hope you can sleep during the day because that is will become your life as long as you hang out with me, lol.  With a smile on my face I looked at the boys hoping they would understand.  Sam just smiles back nodding his head why Aaron said I like the dark anyways not as many people to deal with.  I kind of chuckle glad that these two are starting to understand that I am not this bad person that wants to hurt them or hide away. But then Ron asks me a strange question.  He wants a picture of me on his phone I say as long as no one will ever see it he then agrees that he will keep my appearance a secret.  He quickly takes my picture and turn sharply saying go start taking care of the little wolf and keep me apprised of her condition.
