"And where do you think you are going?" I froze, turning back to look at who it was.
I was shocked to see Alpha's beta. I had expected him to start yelling at me or something, but he remained calm.
"I... I..." I tried explaining.
He walked towards me, smiling. "It's okay, I won't tell anyone I saw you leave." He patted my shoulder gently.
Having him say that kind of gladdened my heart, but how sure am I that he won't play games with me?
