The Alpha Queen and Her Mate

LILY I smoothed down my blue dress and did one final check in the mirror to ensure I look both regal and powerful.  "You look beautiful Lily! I'm sure you'll dazzle them in there!" My beta Alice tells me as she fixes my hair. "I'm not trying to look pretty Alice! I'm trying to look strong and confident! I need them to approve a loan of fighters if we have any chance of winning against Leonard!" I responded sharper than I meant to and I saw her wince.  "Sorry Alpha!" She responded quickly.  “No don’t worry, I’m just nervous.”  “A little s*x appeal won’t hurt though, they are a bunch of guys in there.” She gave me a smirk. I laughed and then pulled my dress down in a way to show off some more cleavage. I left my room at the inn we were staying with Alice following me along with Matt and Justin, my two biggest fighters.  *** At the Council's Chamber *** “Introducing Alpha Liliana Moon of the Moonlight Pack” announced the doorman.  I strode through the door as confidently as possible. My wolf became instantly restless but I chalked it up to stress. With Alice and my fighters behind me, I could do anything! “Hello Council, I am Alpha Liliana Moon and I am here with a request for fighters,” I said strongly as I scanned the room. In the circular-shaped thrones sat the council Alphas. I scanned their faces until I landed one and my heart skipped a beat. Sitting in a dark oak throne sat a chiseled man in an all-black tux. Is brown hair gently resting on his face in curls that made me want to swoon. My wolf seemed to jump up and scream “MINE!” Once I realized I was staring, I swiftly looked away before proceeding. MAX The most gorgeous woman I have ever laid my eyes upon stood mere feet away and my wolf who usually remained quiet during these meetings was pacing back and forth anxious to get closer to this mysterious woman.  “My father was unfairly murdered by his Beta Leonard Whitlock. This resulted in the fracturing of my father’s pack. I request a group of fighters in return for a favour from the Moonlight pack once my rule over my kingdom and pack is rightfully reinstated.” She stated confidently and I couldn’t help but feel pride. At least until I looked at my fellow council leaders and saw Erik openly staring at her breasts. I felt a strong protective urge to cover her up.  “Tell me, Liliana, have you committed to another?” Erik chimed in. A loud growl escaped my mouth before I could stop myself and I felt all eyes turn to me as I tried to cover my emotions. It seemed to have been enough that no one commented on it, but I doubt I fooled anyone. I should’ve been more careful! I have no trust in my fellow council members who would tear me down in a moment if it benefited them.  “So you are eligible for marriage. That is useful, but what else have you to offer? Would you consider pledging loyalty to the council?” Every word that came out of Erik’s mouth felt like slime and I wanted to hurt him more than ever. I had to release the arm of my chair when I heard a c***k as the wood splintered under my grip. Get a hold of yourself! I scolded myself.   I was about to interject when I heard the melodious voice of the beautiful Alpha fill the room. “I am eligible for a potential arrangement and I am willing to offer the aid of myself and my fighters in a future conflict. We are very capable...”  “And loyalty?” Erik interrupted her, making my wolf push even harder to shift and tear Erik’s throat out. LILY “And loyalty?” Asked the man with the slicked-back hair who I gathered to be Alpha Erik the head of the council. What he was asking wasn’t something I ever wanted to offer for once you pledge loyalty to the council it is upon you and all your descendent to follow any order the council gave. That was too much to ask for such a simple loan of fighters for one conflict.  “That is not a fair trade and I will not accept such terms,” I said trying to hide my hatred for the man in front of me.  “Well I guess then there’s nothing to talk about. You ask too much of us.” He said slyly. The prick! That was such a stacked deal. Then I saw him look at my breast in a way that made my skin crawl, but I was willing to do about anything for my pack. I approached his throne and knelt, giving him a seductive look. “Surely we could figure something out,” I said in a pouty voice. I could tell it turned him on. Men are so predictable. What I didn’t expect was the loud growl that made my hairs stand up and strangely sent pleasure coursing through my body and the pounding of feet approaching me.
