“He was in a weird place because of Selene and he was admitting that he was in love me and-”
“Well what did you do?” I asked.
“I told him that I was in love with you, Daxon.” Roxanne smiled slightly.
I was relieved. I mean Selene was right, the chemistry between them was insane and I was kind of nervous that Roxanne felt something for him. But she didn’t. As always, she loved me.
I kissed her. “Okay, I believe that. This has all been such a mess.”
“I told you my family was messy,” Roxanne pointed out.
“Yeah, I guess I just didn’t believe how messy they could be.”
“How long are we letting her stay?”
“I say until at least next year. Stability is so important right now. I had a long talk with her
