Madilyn's POV
Damon had this incredible ability to just make me feel better about anything that was bothering me. When I couldn't love myself he loved me enough for the both of us. His love wasn't perfect, actually it was far from it, but there is one thing that it damn sure was...pure. He loved me without reason and beyond measure, something that I never thought I would get but longed for. So when he told me too embrace my freakness, and that no matter what I was beautiful, I believed him. But when he asked me to marry him my heart did a summer salt in my chest. I felt my whole world line up, almost like things were on track to how they should be.
"Good morning sleepy head." I whispered into Damon's ear. He rolled over to me with a smile and a devil in his eye.
