Bright, warm lights hitting the skin. Prickling of the needle as it hits the skin. The feeling of throwing up as the IV goes into the arm. The heaviness and sensation of coming back from the dead, well that's what doctors think anyway.
Sebrina opened her eyes and instantly sat up, gasping with air; she moves her hand to her shoulder and scream. Doctors and Nurses grab onto her and try push her to lay back down, an nurse grabbing her hand and pulling it down and doctors pushing her shoulders back. "Sebrina you need to calm down!" yells a doctor as she gasps and looks around. "Where am I? What happened?" she yells as she starts to slowly calm down, but her heart rate stays high. "You were struck by lightning, somehow during it your shoulder was shattered, but megacycle it healed since. That was almost a week ago. Can you tell me what you remember about that day?'' Sebrina thought about the last thing she could remember.
"I was in the mud, going to feed our livestock, and I was attacked. It was a boy who attacked me with a blade of some kind. No! It was a wolf, it was going to attack the livestock, so I protected it after even though I was bleeding... Did the chickens make it?" Sebrina answered, the doctor looked from nurse to nurse. "Are you sure it was a wolf? There wasn't any other bodies at the seen. It explains the bite marks in your shoulder, but there isn't any proof. If you were in an attack with a wolf when the lightning hit you then you both would've died." Sebrina looks at him in shock," Are you saying that I'm a crazy dead person? There isn't any way possible I'm both of those things. I think your the crazy ones, and I know for a fact that I'm breathing." The doctor looks at her and asks the nurses to leave the room. After they do the doctor looks at her," Sebrina, you need to know that you took a lot of damage from the lightning hitting you. The lighting hit exactly at your shoulder, the theory that a lot of the nurses here have is that the lightning hitting where your bone had been shattered allowed it to heal slightly faster. But you didn't heal slightly faster you healed extremely fast. We've tried to cover it up as much as possible, but your story is ridiculous, so I'm going to have to ask you to not tell anyone and if asked, you don't remember anything." Sebrina nods, but at the same time she doesn't agree.
The doctor leaves without another word. Looking out the window she could see the moon rising. She couldn't believe how long she was asleep, and she healed the way the doctor said. Looking at the bed side table she could see an envelope with her name on it that was sealed, flowers of all colors, even a stuffed bear from her mother. Sebrina stood to her feet with all her strength and walked to the bathroom to see how she looked. As she walked to the mirror she could see that she looked normal, but with longer hair; as she looked closer she could see a mark on her neck coming from under her shirt. Sebrina slowly takes her shirt off and see's marks that look like explosions' of electricity on her body. As she puts her shirt back on; she walks out of the bathroom to find her mother sitting on the bed waiting for her.
"Good night Sebrina. Took you long enough to wake up, what happened to you?" her mother asks, but she just shrugs her shoulders; she doesn't think that she will believe her. Then suddenly the ground begins to shake, everything begins to rumble, Sebrina's mother yells out to her as she falls to the ground and Sebrina hits the walls. Her mother goes unconcise and Sebrina closes her eyes to wait out the sounds she can hear and the crashing below her feet.
