Two Brothers

The adventure to Selima city takes a lot of time to trade. Juno has strides upon the empty street for a complete day and he started to feel ill by the barrage of stomach grumbling as the sign of starve over his edge. Luckily, all that time to walk forward paid handsomely by the showcase of the neighboring country to Mooma, the city of Suna. He arrives there in the morning, being fatigued over the night-time travel on foot that he has had to do.

However, the deserving rest for his hours abroad needs to be postponed, as he has to encounter another issue on the road. There are 5 guardsmen of the city, stationed upon the entrance and blocking the way inside, in spite of the soothing state of the city that currently ring behind them.

“Halt! You should not be here.” One of the guardsmen yelled.

“Why? I am but a normal citizen of hell.” Juno answered

To the relatively decent reply of the man, several guardsmen are chuckling and teasing him out with their mock ,”Please, your non-red self is not briefly given us the picture of being a demon around here. Move!”

“At least tell me what’s going on, master guardsman. I am hungry and my tummy wished to be fed.”

By Juno’s ample reasoning before them, the five guardsmen seemingly could not hand him the choice of freedom right away. They enforced more strickening advancement to the man, as they pointed their spears against Juno’s will to come inside.

To the confusion of the whole situation and Juno’s own bewilderment, one of the guardsman finally speaks,“With the order of our king, any citizen from Mooma can not enter the city. Sorry, sir.”

They dismissed him out immediately afterwards without any slight opportunity to taste a sip from their wine. And here goes Juno, returning to the ground where he last. The guards kicked him out by the restraining order from the king himself after the big blast from George the heaven’s giant. He then walking astray to the opposite side of the gate, only to be flushed out once more by the residing sentinels of the city.

“Oh, man, where would I be if there’s no way to get in?” Said Juno in desperation.

(Grumble-Grumble)

From the far east of where he stood, a group of Kudelumas appear to chase somebody out in the open field. Juno has to squint his eyes for better view and he found something intriguing of the escapee. His two-fold double stat-boost are still intact and in perfect condition to fight the three kudelumas toe to toe, thus made him to quickly run towards the pursuer to save the day.

Half-speed of a bullet Juno is sprinting swiftly and cutting across a hundred meters in one leap. The group of feral beast are not even realize of the threat until Juno slashed them out in a blitz over their throat.

The three of them are slain, dying by the speed omni-s***h of Juno and his twin swords. Although the menacing threat has been neutralized, the escapee appears to be absent of the event and still on the run.

“Hey, stop man! You’re safe!” Shouted Juno to the unknown little man before him. However, He does not ceasing his spirit to blast off the ground and running in even more pace up front. For the event before him, Juno could only shakes his head and pursuing the escapee with his thundering speed.

And the quick dash of Juno only took two seconds to pursue the man, swiftly immobilize the run-away guy in one-short kick to the knee. Eventually, the man bursting in tears as he dropped onto the ground,“Aaaaaa! Don’t eat me, Masha! Spare me off my debt!”

No matter how Juno pampered him off the traumatic moment, His whine is not stopping at any time whatsoever. The guy trembles so much that the warm leak of piss has appeared upon the short that he wears, embarrassing him much further.

“Ups! I saw nothing, I swear.” Juno exclaimed. The fugitive, or the one being caught red-handed of the scenic act, defending himself by covering the bustling liquid that drenched the bottom area of his. To no avail, the man then speaks to cover his guilt,”You are so done with this-“

As he paused for a second, Juno could see something peculiar upon his left forearm. A similar tattoo of levels is there, decorated the tiny arms of his with much lesser indent of levels that what he had earned from the journey. For the sure-case to the identical appearance of the man, Juno flipped his left palm to locate the mark of their blood pact signing with the demon.

“Ah, so you’re- wait, am I not really that alone in this quest?”

Because of the sudden drive of interest for his hand, the small guy can only freeze and shuttered his lips. He then mumbles,”Do not speak with strangers-do not speak with strangers-“ Several times, to the extent of annoyance towards Juno.

“Okay, enough! To make it short, I have the same tattoo like you. Here!”

Juno showed the black picture upon his left arm to the frightened little man, whose body is still leaning down upon the sand. For the safety and cognizance of what Juno had offered, He then overviewed the tattoo carefully and inspected it as he laying a hand on the curve of the demon’s mark. After he saw the similar tattoo of the man beside him, the little man gradually accepting Juno as a companion by a single nod of his and opening himself to speak up,”so, you’re stranded here, just like me?”

Being acknowledged by the little man, the awkward question made him flustered a little,“Stranded? What do you mean?”

“Oh, what the demon has told you? of the hero thingy? That’s all his own deception!” The little man suddenly enraged, bouncing in a few instances upon the sand,”Please, tell me of the bargain. I need to collect what that beast had promised to everyone-“

The little man abruptly panicked and gotten pale over something behind Juno,”DUCK!”

Juno quickly followed the order of the little man and avoiding a buzzing sound that entailed the assault. One other shot appears to hit Juno’s back and cause a bleeding wound upon it.

“Ugh! It hurts!” Moaned Juno before dropping to the ground.

“Stop it, brother! He’s a hero, just like us.”

The partner of crime of the little man situated himself adjacent to Juno. He carried a bow and arrow to protect himself from harm, also to attack a seemingly dangerous stranger like Juno that his partner had to apprehend. With much taller and muscular figure than the little weeping man of the kudeluma’s assault, the ‘brother’ indication apparently congruent as the moniker from his partner.

Without formal greeting or warm salutation, the bowman reached Juno’s left arm and digging deep in scrutiny. He then suddenly bowed his head and gripping Juno’s palm firmly and shakes it up and down several times, much contrary to the cold emotion poised from his hurried motion.

“Thank you, sir. Your power saved us against inevitable death! We shall be friends from now on.” Said the little man’s brother in confidence. To the sudden offering of the man, his little brother seemed delighted and signalling his confirmation by his bobbing head over the sideline. However, Juno has a glint of doubt over the commotion that has occurred between them. The little brother seemed too weak to fight, even against the most vulnerable ghouls that he faced on the previous city of Hell. On the other hand, He does not adequately acquainted with cooperation, therefore given him harder decision to make.

“Err- State you abilities before we begin, strangers, after that we could-“

Being a cheery boy as he is, while also turned out in opposite to the trouble that happened before, the little brother begins to introduce himself to Juno,”Hello, sir hero! My name is Selena, and this is my brother Zeke. Nice to meet you!”

Juno’s eyes are widened,”Really? You’re a girl? I thought-“

“Because I cut it short does not mean that I am suddenly changed into a boy, old man.” She pouted.

After realizing the difference from her own insinuation, Selena surely has a lot of early womanhood underneath her skimpy short and dirty light armor. Her waist might not be there yet, but her voice slowly resembled a youthful energy of a woman her age, especially with a high-pitch tone of her statements that awfully close to Bruno’s daughter.

“And me, kind sir, Is Zeke as she has said. I’m not literally her brother, since I am a kind of separated by blood-“ He stopped after looking at Selena’s squinted eyes, then speaks again to correct the issue,”-Well, I am the oldest son of Her father’s older brother, or so to speak. ”

Juno cleared his throat, "Your abilities?"

"Definitely, kind sir. I am a bowman, as you can perceive up close. My little sister is my full supportive abilities holder. Nice to see you, old man.” He concluded the introduction by an elegant bow, complete with hand salutation gesture as he waved his right band to the back.

(Grumble-Grumble)

“Oh no, that might be Masha’s! Quick, brother, let’s hide!” Selena grabbed her brother’s hand and pulled it along with her to move somewhere around. Juno Noticed this as the form of decent welcome from his dearest friend of the torso, therefore forced him to hold Selena’s hand before it’s too far to reach out.

“That’s my stomach. Mind to give me directions to where I could have some food?”

“Hahaha!” Selena laughed and bobbing her head steadily to Juno’s request,”Sure! Come, old man. I’ll be your guide for today!”
