Part 5 Chenoa Heals Too

Kill!

Zion's POV

The horn came blaring through the atmosphere, as if that sound alone was not enough to bring a man to his knees, the reverberation of the growl that followed had so much power that you had to submit. I felt completely broken, Akoshka came charging at me with Earth directly in her path, and it sounded like a train about to run us down, but still I pushed. I had long ago lost sight of Maden and Elijah. That alone left an ache within me. Around us there was mass hysteria and utter chaos, understandably so. People were dying by the hundreds, but I couldn't focus on that because right now, Earth was in the line of fire. Mundora had swept us up in her clutches and I thought it was the end until my son stared into the demon's eyes. The scream he released had shook the Earth and Mundora had dropped us both, but on the way down, Earth slipped from my grasp and now he stood stoic, staring at Akoshka who was now coming at him. His scream alone had sent Mundora on a raging war path but she sat her sites on easier targets, and went barging into the crowd of wolves. Still, she had brought us to Akoshka's attention. I raced toward him as his eyes began to glow. To my amazement, Earth did not back down, instead he pushed both his hands out, sending a force at Akoshka that even she was not ready for. My son began to growl as, with both hands, he pushed forward and his power and the Goddesses collided.

In the realm of the Heavens

"Father, listen to me!" I screamed as Maui ran to the glass window that showed all the other dimensions and earth. "No no no!" She screamed in despair as she saw Kreis preparing.

His army to descend on Earth, "she will kill them, my babies!"

I stood stiffly glaring at my father, as tears poured from my eyes, "Father please what are you doing!" I screamed at him. I did not want to say what needed to be said because I was not stuck in the garden for life. Would be banished to the void of nothingness again. Had broken so many rules.

"Selene, if you lose the girl it will destroy you! I can't watch you suffer like that again. The angels are prepared to descend upon the Earth. Lucifer has risen. The Gods are prepared to protect the earth and we shall protect the heavens. There is no need to place her in a battle. She will not survive! NOW MY WORD IS FINAL!" Panic gripped me as the reality of this situation came piling down on me. "Maui No!" My father yelled as Maui tried lunging herself out the window. She was captured by Raphael, one of the angels, before she fell to earth; she struggled against them. Fighting with all her might until her accusing eyes landed on me. Cutting me with her words, she yelled, "You, this is all your fault!" She pointed an accusing finger at me, "Now everything will be gone! Why did you do it, why?" She looked at me with so much hatred.

"Why why why did you do this?" She came running toward me, throwing a wave of power at me. I threw my hand up and blocked it. I would not fight her back. She was my sister and I loved her dearly. This was her grief talking. I turned back to my father, and he met my eyes. "If she wakes up on her own, it will not be Akoshka we need to fear, father." I finally admitted. My father looked at me and he read my heart, "Why Selene, what did you do?" I looked at him with shame. I could hide it no longer. It was time to bare my soul, it was time to bring the truth to light.

Chenoa's POV

I couldn't run, my leg was broken, my back was injured, and my arm was still bleeding from the earlier attack. Yet everything in me was telling me to move and run!

'Shift so we can heal!' Anika demanded as the sky lit up. Kreis was there, but it was Blaine who reached us first. Putting me over his shoulder, he grabbed Summer and Dora, telling Maddy to wrap his arms and legs around him. And he started maneuvering through the crowd of suffering, and fighting people. He made it to his transport vehicle. "Go take them to Zerion!" he demanded.

"No I'm not leaving you!" I screamed.

"You can't fight Noah and the kids!" He pointed to their scared little faces.

"Then send one of your men!" He knew there was no arguing with me, so he yelled for one of his men to carry the children to safety. "Where are the weapons?" He asked me.

"She won't show herself!" We both froze as the earth began to shake and a beast rose from the earth. A three-headed beast, "f**k Mundora!" It was then that we watched in horror as the beast grabbed Zion, who was still holding on to Earth. "Holy s**t!" Blaine mumbled. Earth lifted his head from his father's chest. Seeing the beast he did as any child would, he screamed. Not just any scream though a scream that shook the Earth. The beasts dropped beast screeching in pain. It shrunk back. Earth's eyes began to glow. "No son!" You could hear Zion yelling but it was too late, Earth threw a ball of fire at the beasts. Knocking it further back but also gaining Akoshka's attention, "Come to me Dearly," she cackled as she set her eyes on Earth.

In the realm of the heavens

"Selene, answer me," My father yelled. As he did, Earth's cry pierced the heavens. My eyes bulged. I felt it like a bolt went through my body and so did he.

"What, how?" He asked in confusion.

"It's too late, father, she is awake!"

I laughed and cried at the same time, as I felt her soul, her spirit rise.

"Stop her Selene, Akoshka will destroy her!" I could hear the concern in his voice.

"No she won't father because she is not a carbon copy, a duplicate, and imitation. She is so much more!" I tried to explain.

He glared at me, "Explain Selene, what have you done!" I tried to explain but finding the words was difficult because I had already bought him so much shame. My father had doted on me for so long, but unlike Akoshka I had done everything as he wished. Faithful to his teachings, the perfect Goddess until I met…. The was completely smitten. Why, why, why Maui had asked? Simple she had never been in love. She had never felt lurch in the pit of her stomach, the feeling of butterflies dancing in her heart. Maui had never been in love. She had walked the earth and toyed with humans like many Goddesses and God's done, yet never done anything forbidden she was too perfect for that. I envied her for that. I had the misfortune of falling for a God, and creating total destruction in the form of Akoshka, my greatest regret.

Before Father created Earth he came to Maui and I one day and he asked us how we felt about children, for even Goddesses had an internal need to reproduce. This is when he told us he would share the world with his to

Girls, to create our children and they would be welcome on Earth they would be our babies. I had a fascination with the moon so I created my werewolves, creatures with strength and abilities like no other that flourished under the moon. Maui was much younger, maybe too young to be gifted with such an offer. She created the dragons, fire in their eyes and heart. I wanted my people to be loved and to know that love when they found it so the mate bond was born. A touch that was unforgettable. I had seen the humans sorry living a life of loneliness. And when Akoshka was locked away and I created my first Chosen I knew that the traits they learned would be carried from one to the next but Catori. She was different, yes I had spoked and whispered to the child in her mother's womb. So many obstacles she would have to overcome. So I did something forbidden, worse than Akoshka.

"Father Catori will defeat her because she has my heart, she is full of love, kindness and compassion." My father looked at me but his eyes narrowed as I said, "She has Maui's fire and drive; she will never give up and never stop fighting because that fire burns within her," Now his mouth dropped as he realized what I was saying,

"Selene, tell me you are not saying you gave your Chosen," he paused as if he was thinking my words over, "ARE YOU SAYING YOUR GAVE A MORTAL PART OF NOT JUST YOURS BUT MAUI'S ESSENCE!" He exploded and all of heaven knelt. As his booming voice echoed throughout the heavens, "Yes father but most importantly Father… she has your strength and power! I did not make Catori in Akoshka's image father, I made her in yours!" I was shaking as I admitted Catori's true origin, my father's mouth dropped open.

Blaines POV

Earth, I watched as he swallowed his fear to face a Goddess. I felt my legs moving toward the boy. We had no weapons to defeat her, no tricks up our sleeve, but as his mother would say we had heart. I had not stood with Catori when she needed me most. I would stand with her son, I would fight with him and if we pershed we would do so together. Elijah was pushing back. Akoshka was feeling it too, the boy was something, he only needed a boost. So as he pulled his hand back to push again I grabbed his hand. He looked up at me. Zion growled and came running for me but Anika, Chenoa's wolf tackled him, she growled shaking her head trying to make him understand my intentions. I ran my powers through Earth and this time when when he pushed Akoshka was thrown back.

"Son of a b***h!" Akoshka screamed, "that little fucker has some power," she cackled. "Dear a little help!" She said calmly and a fire hole began to open, demons began to fly out of the hole, as Akoshka cackled more.

Then a huge silver wolf with a coat speckled with many colors jumped over us, her eyes the color of a rainbow. She fearlessly ran toward the hole blowing her breath. She froze the hole over. Anika released Zion and ran toward the wolf spotting her every time a beast came to swipe at her.

"Hmph!" Akoshka said, glaring back at us, "She will run out of wind soon." She looked at me and then Earth, spinning her arm, she threw balls of fire toward us. This was not safe. He was just a kid and he had no idea what he was capable of. I looked above as I saw the arm of the dragon lord arrive. The flying demons and the dragons began to fight in the skies, as Earth looked up at me, "I'm tired," he said to me. Zion ran swooping him up and for a moment we stared at each other. Finally, I pointed toward the transport vehicle. The man hated me, but was his hate greater than his love for his son? "I will hold her off!" I yelled. He looked at me. I knew it would take a lot for him to accept my help. "Daddy, I want my mommy."

Earth said to him, we both looked at each other and he turned to walk away as I tried to hold the goddess off. I was no match for her, but I did have more experience than Earth. My skills allowed me to maneuver long enough to back her up. Then she spotted Zion making his escape. She wanted Earth, she was not giving up that easily. She threw a bolt at the transport vehicle, blowing it up. The force threw Zion backwards and he fell backwards. My nephew began to scream hysterically as Zion lay stiff. My father ran up to me, he looked the exact same, only his hair was completely gray, "Krishna!" He handed me the blade and I dropped it, stepping back like it was on fire. The last time I held that blade, I stabbed my sister in the back and my life changed. He snatched it up, "Krishna, swallow your fear, this is your chance at redemption, son. Go give that b***h hell!" He growled, I don't know if it was the child in me still longing to earn my father's approval, but I grabbed the damn knife and went running toward the b***h. I saw as Chastity flew ahead and there coming in the opposite direction was another witch on a broom. They both blew something at Akoshka and a shape began to form like a huge black shadow, but that was all I needed was to aim. Akoshka was swaying about by swinging one arm; she knocked the witch from her broom as the breeze from her other hand sent Chastity into a dive toward the ground. I stood a running leap, diving into the air with the knife raised, I went right through her land g on the other side. I tumbled to the ground. "f**k, this b***h is undefeatable."

In the realm of the heavens

"Selene '' My father glared at me. You could have heard a pin drop. Toward me shaking with anger, he came over to me, then, after standing there a moment, I felt his pain at my betrayal. I knelt as he bypassed me, walking to the window to Earth, "CATORI KNIGHT THIS IS EMMANUEL, FATHER OF SELENE AND GOD OF GODS. DO YOU HEAR ME, DEAR?"

There was silence, everyone stood as a wave washed over the heavens and went soaring across the earth…. Finally, a raspy, scratchy voice, in a whisper, replied, "Yes…."

"CATORI. I CAN FEEL YOUR HEART BEATING. YOU MUST SLOW DOWN AND TAKE A BREATH!" I stood trying to calm her. I could feel her adrenaline rush and knew for the first time she was seeing the destruction. My head was spinning as my legs gave out and my father reached for me before I hit the floor. I began to weep because I felt her desperation and despair, the heavens shook as she shrieked, her energy rocked the atmosphere.

We could hear her heavy breathing as if she was in the heavens alongside us. Suddenly there was silence, "Catori". The silence was terrifying, "Catori, answer me!" I demanded silence, and then there was a jolt. We ran to the window, as we heard the must guttural primal growl, she responded, "KIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLL!"

AKOSHKA'S POV

Oh what an i***t did he think I was a fool? I stayed in this way for a reason. The weapons were useless as long as I stayed in a godly form. Now the boy, the Lycan, lay stiff, most likely dead. The Monarch Wolf was out of air, the ice was melting fast. This will be over soon. I was glad too. I wanted to relax in Lucifer's arms. Although he was not much help. Just as I thought this to myself, the ice broke and my love came rising from the flames. I laughed as I swept past the herds of the dying and came to a halt above the boy, "This does not have to be painful. I will do it fast because I'm not a total b***h," I thought about what I said, it didn't even sound right, "okay I am lying. I am a total b***h,it's going to hurt."

"Get away from him," the Lycan said to me so weakly I almost did not hear him. "How pathetic you are." I said to him, shaking my head in disgust. "I'm sorry I didn't hear you, what was that you said," I said, taunting him.

Oddly, the boy began smiling at me, and not just any smile, a huge, bright smile. Which was odd because his father seemed to be struggling to breathe. He was gurgling, attempting to speak, "what are you trying to say, Lycan?" I asked,

"He says he feels her," the boy smiled, "mommy's here."

A powerful source felt like it snatched me around the neck with so much force I could not speak. Lifting myself up, I was slammed down so hard there was a huge imprint left. The force surrounding her began to calm and there she stood before me with hair and eyes of fire, "Who the f**k are you!" She growled….her head jerked around looking at Lucifer, "do you wish to engage?" she said, holding a hand up towards the heavens. She drew lightning from the sky as her eyes began to glow. Lucifer knew she was about to strike. I waited for him to strike but instead, like a coward, he fled!

"Lucifer, Lucifer get back here, we had a deal!" I screamed, but he and his army began to retreat. I glared at her, fighting to free myself. She brought her mighty hand down and a chain clamped around my neck and both hands.I struggled to free myself, throwing a fit like a possessed demonic spirit. "This is not possible, you can't be stronger than me! Do you know who I am?" I screamed.

She did not answer. Instead, she dropped her hands and, like a magnet, the weapons of destruction came flying into her hands. My eyes bulged. That was true death. I did the only thing I could think of doing at that point: "Mother, mother, mother!"

Like a light my mother appeared. "Mother, how is she more powerful than me, how!" I screeched,

My mother did not acknowledge me, she instead reached her hand to brush against her Chosen's cheek, "Hello my sweet, how was your rest?"

"Is she yours?" Her Chosen asked,

"I'm sorry Catori, she is, but this should not impact the punishment you wish to deliver," My mother said to her,

"Mother, what are you saying?" I inhaled deeply, building up my power,

She reached out and touched my forehead and I felt a pull from my inner core, "No!" I screamed as she drained me of my power, handing the huge orb to my mother. She bent down looking at the necklace around my neck, snatching it off. I screamed as she held it to the light. Tossing it in the air, she hit it and it exploded, releasing the souls of the people I had tabbed and carried with me since before earth existed. My mother gasped in disbelief. "Mother, say goodbye." her, Chosen said to my mother, grabbing me by the neck. She walked away dragging me by the neck as I screamed.

"Catori," my mother called out. I let out a sigh of relief. I knew she would not just stand by and watch this happen.

"I am proud of you dear, you controlled your temper. Welcome back love," my mother said to her. I was dumbfounded. Even more so, when her chosen responded, "thank you and, um, you may not wanna watch me for awhile what happens next is going to be messy."

"Understood." These were the last words I heard my mother say as the Chosen teleported with me to a space in time not known to men or Gods, a place where no one would hear me scream.
