Vampire and Wolf Kings For Mate

Chapter 6

Robin 

When I reached the threshold of the room, I saw something bright placed on the table that was kept exactly opposite to the door to the room, but at the center of the room. I saw that it was a crystal-like globe resembling the size of a football. It was glowing and was showing the colors of the rainbow. 

I lifted my eyes from the globe and there she sat looking at me with pitch dark orbs. Those eyes could suck anyone into their dimension and could hold them captive for their lifetime. She was looking at me, but I could sense that she was looking deep into me. Mina gently pushed the middle of my shoulder blade gesturing me to enter the room. 

I entered the room and stood near the wall that started right next to the door. 

“Come in my child”, I heard her say from behind the globe. 

I was fidgeting and was thinking whether or not to abide by her words. I was playing with my fingers and that was when I saw her stand up from her place. She stood tall and felt like she was almost 6 feet in height. She had a black gown with full sleeves on, and her hands had nails that were at least 1 inch long. They were painted black. She had left her dark black hair flow behind her and it reached her waist. 

She was a pale skinned woman with dark black orbs. She was very pretty to look at and didn't have any makeup on. She started coming towards me and stood right in front of me. 

I suddenly held my gaze down because of the aura that she emitted around her. 

“Come my child. Don't be afraid now”, she said and brought forth her right hand for me to hold onto it. 

I slowly brought my hand forth and held onto her hands. She held onto my hand very tightly for a minute and let go within the next minute. I could feel her tense and relax, and pull me towards the chair that was placed opposite to the door. She made me sit on the chair and called Mina. 

“Mina, let the Alpha also join us now”, she said to Mina and Mina replied with a nod. 

“Alpha, the oracle has asked you to join her”, I heard Mina telling my dad and within a few seconds my dad entered the room. 

With the way the oracle and my dad were staring at each other, I felt like there was something wrong with my future and the oracle was trying to let my father know about it. 

“Have you got a read, Celeste? What does the future hold for my son?”, I heard my father say with such a tensed voice. 

Celeste sighed and looked at me for the last time before letting my father know about what exactly she felt after seeing and even touching my hand. 

“Alpha, I have got a read on the future, of the future Alpha of our pack. I am afraid that what I am about to say will not please you. Being an oracle, I cannot lie and I say only what my ancestors allow me to see and I have seen prosperity and good things in the future days of our pack, after our young Alpha takes over the title of the Alpha after you”, she said with a straight face and I could feel my dad relax next to me. 

After a few minutes, I saw the oracle tense again and I saw that her focus was just on the globe that was shining before us. I saw her eyes go blank for a few minutes and she came out of her daze before closing her eyes for a few seconds. 

“He who terrorizes the whole bunch of packs will rise within us. 

He will make everyone bend their knees before the pack. 

He will be both feared and steer cleared off, and will become the king of the Alphas.

He will not share what he has gained and will stand alone and as only one.

He will get support from someone least expected and this is all because of her. 

She will come when the time is right. 

She who completes him will be a force to be reckoned with. 

She will stand and support him in all possible ways. 

She will offer her strength to him in her own way. 

Unlike him, she will be a due destini and her destiny will bring prosperity to him, along with some new allies from the least expected sources.  

She will be born again after meeting him, and when she does, nothing can stop her from becoming his destiny”

The oracle said all these words by just looking at the globe and having a straight and black face throughout. Me and my dad stayed in our places just looking at her. I felt my dad let go of my shoulder, which he was holding so strongly. I looked at my dad and again at the oracle. She shivered and relaxed in her seat. 

Mina came running into the room and went towards the oracle. 

“Alpha, I would ask you to retire from the room and wait in the living area. I will be with you within a few minutes”, Mina said to my dad with a panicked yet straight face. 

Dad held onto my shoulders and pushed me out of the room and towards the couch. We sat there and it was completely silent for a few minutes. We felt Mina coming out of the room and she stood before us. 

“She did really work up finding the future of our little Alpha here. I have never seen her so much worked up that it knocked her. She is sleeping now”, Mina said with a straight face, and yet we could feel her heartbeat elevated. 

“I had so many questions for her, Mina. She said so many things and many things did not make much sense to me. Anyways, I will be back after a few days, or will summon her to the pack house. I will get my answers from her”, I felt my dad clenching his fist. 

We stood up and made our way towards the door. The drive back was just as silent as it was like after I got my prophecy.

After bidding bye to Selena, I made my way towards the stairs where I found my friend and beta Kade waiting for me. I made my way toward him and saw a glint of mischievousness in his eyes. 

“Wipe that stupid expression off your face. You look ugly”, I said to him with so much irritation. 

“As you say Alpha. By the way, how is our Luna doing? Is she okay, after everything that happened back there?”, he asked me with so much concern in his voice. 

I was thinking deeply about what Selena shared with me about the pack and my blood boiled by just listening to it. I wonder how she and the other omegas endured such cruelty for so long years. An Alpha and Luna are like the parents of the pack, and a parent should never discriminate between their children. 

“Robin. . . . Robin . . . are you with me man??”I heard Kade jerk me gently to get my attention. 

It felt like I was pulled out of my daze. I looked at him with a blank expression and he understood that it is not the time to ask anything. He is my best friend more than my beta. We grew up together and his dad was the beta of my dad. So, it was obvious that our ranks were decided from the time we were toddlers. However, that didn't stop us from becoming the best of friends. 

Kade understood me even without me putting everything that I was feeling in words. I really cherished his friendship because I knew that he would give up his life for me, and the same went from my side too. 

With those thoughts in mind, we made our way towards the conference area where the pack meetings were normally held. We entered the room and saw that the Alpha and Luna of this pathetic pack were already seated. My warriors that traveled with me were stationed outside the room with high alert, if anything goes wrong. However, I knew that the Alpha did not have the balls to try something tricky business with me. 

“Alpha Blackwell, welcome once again to our pack. I hope you find everything is up to your mark in our pack house. Is the room provided to you up to your liking? If not, then I can change it to a suit as soon as possible”, the Alpha started with his fake concern towards me. 

I was here for peace, so I was holding myself back from wiping out this whole pack. Even though they were quite a big pack, the warriors that traveled with me were enough to wipe out the whole pack within a night. However, I restrained myself from doing so, because I was here for the peace treaty and it was the pack where I found my beautiful mate. 

I looked at both the Alpha and Luna and felt bored with their way of treating me differently, just because I was an Alpha. I just sat there and listened to all the bullshits that they had to spit. I was really getting bored and was feeling very much need to go to my mate. My wolf was already trying his way to come out and run towards our mate. 

After what felt like an eternity, I felt Kade standing up and I saw that Alpha and Luna were also looking at me. I gestured to Kade that I will discuss the pack related issues later. He understood and relayed my message. However, before I could say, Kade beat me to it. 

“Alpha Warner, one last thing. We are planning to take Luna with us when we leave to our homeland. Not that we need your permission and our Luna has agreed to travel back with us. It becomes our duty to let you know that we will take our Luna with us. So, if you have any objections, then you can state them now”, he said with a relaxed tone, but I knew that one word against the idea by them and he would rip their heads off. 

I looked at Alpha and Luna and their fallen faces for a few seconds. So, they are thinking that taking Selena with us will make them lose a worker or known as a slave of the pack. Pathetic people. I stood up and Alpha and Luna came out of their daze. 

“Yes sure, Alpha Blackwell. If she is your mate, then who are we to stop you from taking her from here. However, let me tell you something. She is just an omega and today was the first time that she shapeshifted. You have seen the pathetic condition of her and her wolf. She will not be the right choice to stand next to you and rule the pack. If you are interested, then you can reject her and choose my daughter as your mate. My daughter has Alpha blood and she will surely give you the strength that you look for in your pups in the future, because of the mix of the Alpha blood”, I heard Luna say by showing all her teeth. 

Within a few seconds, I felt my wolf take over and the next thing I knew, he was holding her throat and her feet were dangling a few feet above the floor.
