All his life, Notle had never been a believer of love. In spite of it all, he still held to a notion that one day he would find someone genuine and fall in love. He found it challenging as he growing up, especially when it came to making friends; female friends to be precise. And all this was as a result of his low self-esteem which kept on dragging him behind. There were times when he would be so afraid of socializing because he feared he might end up being turned down. And this made him lose his mind every time he thought about it. Love came as a surprise to him when one chilly evening as he goes through his social media notifications, he realized that one of his friends was celebrating her birthday; Amelia was celebrating her 25th birthday. Notle barely knew her, but out of curiosity, he decided to go through her timeline and eventually penned down a couple of sweet and charming words to wish her a happy birthday. To his surprise, she responded with a thank you message which indeed it was a dream come true in that fateful day since it was unusual for him to get replies from female friends who barely knew him. That marked the genesis of their friendship. On that night, they talked for long hours and got to know each other in great lengths to an extend of exchanging their contacts and took the friendship to the next level. Little did they know they were slowly consumed with love and affection which made Notle give it a second thought and made sure what he was feeling was real and not some kind of a daydream. As time went by, their chemistry also kept on building up. It came a time when Notle was forced to kill two birds with one stone by attending his graduation ceremony which was due that coming Friday after he successfully completed his undergraduate degree and he was also supposed to meet Amelia at the same time in order to make their union official. Everything was set, and his plan was for him to meet Amelia in their home town, spend a couple of days before he proceeded to his institution. As they say “the rest is history”, everything else happened too fast. Notle found himself travelling a thousand miles to go meet his soulmate. This later became his routine and whenever he got the slightest opportunity, he would use it to catch up with his lover. For sure if the sacrifice was a person, then Notle was the true definition of sacrifice. Nothing else mattered to him more than Amelia’s happiness. Her smile always lightened up his world every single day that passed by. He gave up everything to his ability, just to see that happening. He made every moment memorable by going too far places and spend time together. Furthermore, he wrote countless love poems for her as we always find magic in love, to them it was not an exception. Things turned out pretty well, they made history with full of memories. They lived like there was no tomorrow. They shared both the good and bad days together.
