"You mean that scholar girl?" Helios blurted out. "That scholar girl was the one who poured coffee on you? The one with a messy bun and doll face?"
Surprised pair of eyes under furrowed eyebrows and wrinkled foreheads shut at the youngest Monarch. "There is a scholar in the Imperial?" the six blurted out in a mixture of amusement and horror.
"The fact itself that she was able to be admitted as a transfer student was overwhelmingly impressive enough--- but she also got a scholarship?" Sven blurted out.
'"Wow!" Nico mumbled, putting away his book. "Now, I'm interested. Tell us more about her."
"She must be one of a kind," Grey nodded in awe, thinking about what kind of girl she was. Aside from she got the brains to be in a scholarship program and must have a lot of connections to enter as a transfer student... 'She also has the guts to pour coffee on Azzy-- and Hell seems to hate her as well.' Grey could only snicker at the thought. "What an interesting girl, indeed."
"Since when did you learn to describe someone as doll-faced?" Lionel asked with a suspicious look.
"Girl got him whipped," Sylva answered with a soft chuckle.
Opposite to the pleased expressions of the members, Azrael dramatically sighed. "What? You're telling me a mere peasant poured coffee on my Gucci!"
He knew she was a peasant just by the way she dressed, but he gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just dressed humbly and plainly. Some aristocrats actually liked dressing simply instead of extravagantly so he thought she was one of those people who didn't like to show off her wealth-- but she was literally a peasant? Unacceptable!
The members have different reactions to the second youngest. Hell and Grey smirked at the outrage.
Sven grimaced, "I don't even get why you love that exorbitant brand so much."
"Stop being stereotypical," Sylva nagged at the youngest Kim as he rolled his eyes.
Lionel shook his head before talking to his ice cream. "I don't know how my youngest brother ended up as a cliched arrogant leading man."
Nico raised an eyebrow at Azra. "Just because she's under a scholarship program doesn't mean she's poor."
"What, you're telling me she bought that scholarship instead?" the Gucci enthusiast mocked. That was the most absurd thing he had ever said. Who even buys a scholarship to pay for their studies, instead of just directly paying for the tuition? That was just a hassle. Would nouveau riche people even go that far just to show off to the vieux riche, since old money families were honestly too high up their asses? If she was really from nouveau riche, that was. He was pretty sure, the vieux riche were far too entitled and prideful to actually buy a scholarship at the Imperial University just to show off. That would actually bring their family to shame!
Helios shrugged. That might be possible-- but something was telling him another scenario. "Well, Nico is practically a genius who made the iPhone X possible," the youngest emphasized. "And I'm basically good at everything," he claimed, making the others groan in vexation.
"Now, what's this bs I'm hearing?" Sven couldn't help but blurt out with a disgusted look at their conceited youngest.
"Your escapism has gone too far, Hell," Grey added, "this ain't the fictional world you're making with your games."
"Your lack of sleep is causing you delusions," Azra also teased.
"You can always berate me, but you can never deny facts," Helios brazenly told them off.
"Your point being?" Lionel asked after he rolled his eyes, trying to stick with the context.
"None of us was offered a scholarship by the Imperial," Hell concluded before focusing his eyes on his laptop again. Well, not to mention they were the infamous, Seven members of the Monarchs of the prestigious university who achieved incredible feats in their own power and might.
Though they didn't want to admit it, Hell was right-- again, like he had always been. Even Lionel himself has been in the restaurant business for years and gained millions on his own, but the Imperial didn't offer him a scholarship for his master's degree.
"How did you know her, by the way?" Sven asked with full curiosity.
"Yeah, what's her name?" Greyson added with his tone coated in full interest.
The youngest's fingers stop typing. "She's in one of my classes." He shrugged, "I don't know the name but I know the face."
"I didn't know you cared about your classmates," Azra raised an eyebrow, sure that there was more to the story. Hell never cared about anyone else except for the six of them. Since when did he start caring about others--- especially some peasant in his class?
Hell's face darkened. The memory from a while ago made his blood boil and his mind anxious. "She got an A+ in Finance," he spat in vexation.
"She what?" the six exclaimed with wide eyes. Now, they were sure she really knew how to use her brain!
"I don't believe this..." Nicoli mumbled, shaking his head. 'The highest record students ever had in Finance under the standards of the Imperial was A... And that's me!'
"Now, I really have to meet that girl," Grey spoke in a thrilled tone as an anticipating smile adorned his lips.
"That's impossible," Sven uttered in awe while shaking his head.
"I know! I was so pissed when the professor told us she got the highest score," Helios ranted in frustration, unable to accept what just happened. Well, he got an A- and that was already beyond impressive considering the standards of the university. But that's not the point! the youngest Monarch fumed. "There definitely is something wrong with that professor's evaluation!"
Sylvanus smirked, "Now, that's a first."
Helios turned his irritated glance to the second oldest. "That someone got a higher score than I?"
Lionel mimicked Sylva's grin. "That you admitted someone is actually better than you," the eldest said before stuffing a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth.
The youngest glared at particularly no one, as the others wore their teasing expressions. Helios closed his laptop, not caring anymore if the data he was working on wasn't saved properly. He was beyond pissed, and he was definitely going to make things right.
A smirk crept on the Gold One's face-- the type that confirms a sinful photograph was about to be captured.
"The only time she's gonna be on top again is when she's riding me."
