Typical school day.

I woke up at six this morning. I took a shower and blow dried my hair. Today I'm wearing a blessed girl purple shirt and bluejeans. I put my hair in two frenchbraids on both sides of my head. I'm headed to my family dining room which is halfway between my parents room and mine. Across the hall from there is my Dad's office. "Hey Mom, Hey Dad!" I greeted Mom and Dad Cheerfully. "Good morning Grace,"said Mom. "You ready to head out as soon as you finish with your breakfast? " asked Dad. "Yes sir, "I replied as I sat down at the table. "You have your party invites?"asked Mom. "Yes Ma'am," I replied. "That's right your birthday is just two weeks away. " says Dad with a bit of a laugh. Dad hates that he wasn't there for my birth. Maybe that's why he goes all out for my birthday parties. When I turned 16 he gave me a truck. It is candy apple red with gray leather interior. It has a wonderful stereo system, built in navigation system, blind spot warning lights on my sideview mirrors, parallel parking assistance and a backup camera. Mom put French toast scrambled eggs bacon and fresh fruit on the table. We thank the moon Goddess for all our blessings. We then thank the sun God for bringing us together. We ate breakfast together uneventful. I have them each a hug before heading out the door. "Thanks for breakfast Mom. Love you both see you after school. " Dad said, "drive safe and have a good day at school." "Yes sir Dad, I say as I grab my book bag and purse. I head to the elevator. I hit the down button and wait for it to open. I do a mental check while I wait school books check invitations check tablet for note taking check cellphone silenced check. Elevator is open and I step in ready to face my day. I press 1 as I'm going to the first floor. It stops on the 2nd floor and the Delta's kids get in. They are slightly younger than me and go to the same school. Dad suggested I be nice and give them a ride to school. I love Delta Eric Turner and his wife. Their daughters on the other hand are not always nice. Their names are Wendy and Wanda, yes they are twins born a few months after me. They are very blonde with very blue eyes. They look like barbies. "Hey look it's the half breed here to chauffer us to school," Wendy sneers. "You mean cat girl?" chimes in Wanda. They both laugh. "Nice to see you two," I say with a big smile between gritted teeth. "Being that I'm the chauffer as you two put it. I assume you'll be sitting in the backseat." I say smugly. "Unless you have other means of transportation." "You know we don't because thanks to you we're no longer allowed to date," says Wendy with a scowl on her face. "No one is allowed to date because of you, Alpha orders after his little kitten was treed." I tell them to get in and buckle up. I drive us to school with the radio blasting. I can't hear these two all the more better for me. I pull into the parking lot and park my truck. I let the twins know that I will be leaving for home at precisely 4:15. If they don't want to walk home they will be at the car at that time. I hear someone calling my name. "Hey Grace" Yells Keri. "Hey Keri, How are you?"I say back. "I'm good Grace, those two give you any trouble today?" she asks me. "Naw, I turned my stereo up and made both of them sit in the backseat."I tell her smiling sweetly. "Why did you do that?" she asked. "They called me their chauffer," I replied with a smirk. She just started laughing while we walked to our first class. We have the first 2 classes together. Government, last semester it was Economics, is first. Then we go to Language Arts second period. Third period I have chemistry followed by lunch. After lunch I have physical education. For that class all the kids that are pack members are in attendance and it is 2 hours long. My last 2 hours are calculus and study hall. I use study hall to do my homework. Keri and I have lockers next to each other by some great luck. We put the stuff we don't need in our lockers. Our school is hi- tech. So we grab our tablets. We head to our class as we walk past some girls we hear them making meowing noises. Then Wendy yells, "can't you hear us calling you cat girl." "I just heard some kittens looking for their mama, you're an expert on cats why don't you help them?" I replied. "Or do you just chase them up trees?" I retorted. "Why do they call you cat girl again?" Keri asks. "Her dog chased my cat up a tree," I reply. "She got grounded for letting her dog out without a leash," I tell her. "Well she needs to get a life and a new set of jokes," Keri says as we enter government class. After government we head to Language Arts. We sit in our usual spots and turn on our tablets. We are reading The twilight Saga. Go figure reading a story about vampires and werewolves. Some pack members in my class are trying not to growl others are trying not to laugh. I mean some of us are very appalled anyone would choose to be with a vampire. Yes we are team Jacob. Keri unfortunately is team Edward. Well it is a classic. When I told Mom what we were reading, she told me it wasn't that popular amongst the werewolves. My favorite class is next being chemistry. Humans don't know how lucky they are being given time to mix chemicals. Yes I'm acing chemistry. " Hey cat girl catch," yelled Wendy and Wanda as they pitched open cartons of milk at me. Milk went all over my shirt and in my hair. I grabbed the chicken leg off my tray and threw it at them. "Why don't you bitches go fight over this bone, I said sarcastically," as it landed between them. Next thing you know the cafeteria is in an all out food fight.
