The Christmas Eve

"Can you shut your freaking mouth, Jan Kyle?" Reklamo ko sa kaniya. I'm talking to my mom on the phone and they are so noisy. Excited kasing pumunta sa TCE ng school. I didn't even confirmed it yet na sasama ako sa kanila, but then i have no choice dahil nandito na sila. "Okay, mom. Thank you, Merry Christmas in advance. I love you all," i said before ending the call. I stood up and faced him, he's still laughing secretly which made me more felt pissed. "Sorry na, high blood sis?" Tinulak niya ako nang mahina at tumawa ulit. "Baka mayroon ngayon kaya ganyan," Wanda said. She's referring to my period. I just rolled my eyes on them, tama naman na mayroon ako ngayon kaya simpleng bagay ay kinaiinisan ko. "Mag-bihis ka na! Ano? Kami pa mag-bibihis sa 'yo?" Reklamo ni JK. Padabog akong tumayo at kumuha ng damit, nagulat ako nang agawin sa akin ni Wanda 'yun at palitan ng isang yellow dress. I looked at her, so confused. "Ano ka dyan?" I asked with my annoyed voice. "'Yan suotin mo, please," she gave me a puppy eyes. I rolled my eyes again at saka pumunta sa banyo. I really have no choice, ewan ko ba. I don't know how to say no to them right now. "Ang ganda! He's happy with it, we can't do anything about it. We reached the school early, medyo kaunti pa lang ang tao kaya ay nag-libot muna kami. Mas gumanda lalo ang school, it's so unfair for us. It's nice and clean at mas lalong lumawak. "Halika na, baka mag-start na," yaya ni Wanda sa amin so we followed her downstairs. Nag-hanap lang kami ng maayos na puwesto at saka nag-hintay doon. Napupuno na ang field kaya ay mas umiingay. Out of boredom, nilibot ko ang paningin ko, baka sakaling may makitang kakilala or batch mate namin. Binaling ko agad ang paningin ko nang mag-simula na silang tumugtog. It's a sad song, not a christmas song. "Broken yata 'yung banda kaya nakalimutan ang pasko," I laughed at JK. Kanina pa siya reklamo nang reklamo sa kung ano-ano, kulang na lang ay paniwalaan kong he also had a period. Binabati ako ng mga tao sa paligid ko kaya binati ko din sila. Umikot ako habang binabati sila. Suddenly, i saw a familiar face. It was Uno, he's smiling at me. "Merry Christmas," he mouthed. And everything went back from the start.
