RAID OF THE ALPHA

Chapter 2

Derulo stared at letter in disbelief. His father had seen him that day? How? He had met his father in the sitting room. Anyway, he had to obey his father's instructions, didn't he? So Derulo walked towards his father's bed. As he drew closer, he felt a force pushing him towards his destination. He knelt before the bed and looked under. The box still sat there, ominous as ever. As he reached out to take it, the angel began to glow, emitting a bright red light from the cross on her chest. Ignoring the feeling of dread he felt, Derulo reached out and took the box. It instantly opened on it's own and image of the angel smiled and whispered to him "My alpha."

Then the cross on her chest lifted becoming real, transformed into a grey sword, slowly moving close to Derulo. As he was about to drop the box, the sword moved and entered his chest, becoming a part of him and leaving a burning trail in it's part as it hit his heart with a hard thud. Derulo clutched his chest and then something that surprised him happened:

His back bent forward and he fell on his hands. Then his fingers grew into claws and grey hair grew all over his body. Then finally, all at once, he changed into a huge grey werewolf, his cornea turned red and his irises grey. He howled, lightening flashed, the underworld shook and the angel smiled. "The Alpha had come of age."

Derulo woke up the next morning, once again naked, his clothes in pieces. Everything rushed back to him and he look around his father's room. This definitely wasn't a dream. So he had turned into a wolf. Well, there was still a possibility of it being a dream so he got up, got dressed and went to work despite the warning signs and alarm bells ringing in his head.

Andre walked into his best friend's office and found him working with all diligence, the common feature of stress lines on his face. A normal day at work for Derulo something was different though, Derulo, though normally quite muscular had grown even more muscles since he saw him two days before. As he walked in, Derulo raised his head, smiled and said;

"Hey bro, how's it going?"

"Fine, how was your go to bed early birthday gift?"

"Quite confusing , actually " Derulo said and sighed.

"What do you mean, Rulo?"

"Well,......" Derulo began explaining, but suddenly, something went off in his head and he began transforming again. Before totally turning, he growled unconsciously, "Beta."

Andre jumped to his feet and tried to run, but his friend pounced on him and bit him on his arm.

This time, Derulo changed back without falling asleep, but found his friend unconscious.

Suddenly, Dre's eyes opened, his cornea turning red and his irises black, and he transformed into a black werewolf. Then he changed back to a human with hair over his body and eyes still the same and growled "Alpha", immediately bowing, then he turned back into a human and slipped back into unconsciousness.

Derulo, got up and got dressed in one of the two sets of clothes he had brought as assurance and dressed Dre up in the other one. He looked at Dre and sighed. What had he done?

Six hours and a high blood pressure later, Derulo saw Dre's body move and he pull up into a sitting position. As soon as Dre saw his friend, he got up and shifted towards the door in fear. Derulo sighed.

"I know it's hard Dre, I still don't understand myself."

"You turned into a God damned wolf Rulo, and you bit me."

"Well, speaking of wolf you kinda turned into one after I turned back."

"Rulo, explain everything now."

"I still don't understand Dre."

"Well, make me understand what you don't understand."

So Derulo explained the past events over the next few hours. But as he was about rounding up, the white angel appeared, looked at Dre and said "Welcome beta." Then she turned, walked behind Derulo's chair, turned and faced both men, smiled and said "follow me" as she walked through the wall dragging them through with an invisible force. At the other side of the wall, they saw different creatures all having the feature of a wolf or possessing a power of some sort. Then the angel faced them and said; "Welcome to the underworld, Welcome to cracia, the land of werewolves,vampires and shaleans, welcome to your people and most importantly Alpha," she said looking pointedly at Derulo " Welcome home."
