Nine years later Derulo Orello walked down the lobby Orello incorporated to his office which stood at the extreme end. He opened the glass doors, walked into it and sat heavily on his immediate attention. It was his twenty-sixth birthday. Exactly three years and three months since his father had passed on and had instructed him to leave his door locked until he was twenty-six and ready for what his father had left in store for him. He had assumed the position of the C.E.O as soon as his father passed on and he had considerably increased his father's business empire but unfortunately his father thought him too young and unprepared to learn of his secrets as he had always kept his door locked until the day he had sent his son to retrieve his suitcase when he had seen that mysterious box. Derulo's mind wandered through the activities of that day; the most mysterious and eerie day of his life. He still hadn't figured out what happened at that laboratory, all he remembered was going to dispose off another failed experiment and then waking up the next morning late for school. "Well then", he muttered and faced his work for the day. Life would figure itself out in due course. He worked for the next two hours and at 10:00am, his vision suddenly blurred to once. Then again. And then the third time before everything went blank. He was about to scream for help when he saw a familiar of Figure. The white angel he had seen years ago walked towards from a distance. He readied himself to brace any attack but was surprised when she barely shook her head and whispered: "not time." And again his vision went back to normal. As he worked the next fifteen minutes, he noticed his mood darkened each second that passed. He began to feel uncomfortable, his normally fitted suit seemed too tight. He looked down only to discover his muscles pressing through the fabric. Of course he gymed, but not to the extent of having bulging muscles. He began trying to figure it out, and not getting the answers only angered him further. "So what was it about waiting for my twenty-sixth birthday." He thought angrily his blood boiling and almost scorching his skin. "I am the same as I was before," "My life remains just as it was because mother had abandoned me at three and father had shut me out after then." Not paying heed to the need to control his anger, he angrily ripped his suit jacket open, which was quite an easy task considering his newly acquired muscles. He tried to concentrate on work, but his mind kept wondering what he was going to see when he went into the den of mysterious that was in his late father's room. And then at 12:00pm, it happened! The moon appeared from nowhere and covered the sun. "An eclipse was not on the forecast this morning." He thought getting even more angry as his office was enveloped in a temporary darkness. He closed his eyes taking a deep breath and then opened them again, only to find the angel in white standing in front of him and smiling. He watched as her feet lifted from the ground as he raised herself a bit higher than his height, lean down and place a motherly kiss on his forehead and then whisper into his ears: "It is time alpha." And then all of a sudden everything changed. His anger came back in full force and his eyes turned red with his normally enchanting brown irises turning grey. He tried make meaning of what was happening to no avail. He held his head and tried massaging his temples. That was when he felt the claws! He looked down at his claws in disbelieve as he saw grey hair all over his arms. Then, he realized that he was suddenly seeing so clearly even though the moon still covered the sun with no sign of leaving. Then he heard a c***k. Then a tear. And a c***k, then another tear and the next thing he knew was that he had scattered all the files and documents on the floor, he scratched his table and broke the delicate picture of the company's building that he had hung on the wall, possessed by a force of strong will and strength he had never known before. He should probably just read a little maybe. ***************** Derulo woke up completely naked and stared at his messed up office. He glanced at the time , it was 6:00pm. The sun was already setting and the moon had left the sun. He wondered who had done this. Had the person come to rob? Why did the person have to tear his clothes to pieces? He sighed. got up and arranged to the best he could, the mess that he now had as an office, picked up what was left of his clothes and managed to reach the parking lot and slip into his car unnoticed. "Worst birthday ever." Derulo shouted as he drove home. And then he remembered the white angel. "What a strange dream to have after being knocked unconscious by a robber." He muttered. As he drove home, he seemed to have forgotten that he had locked his office door for privacy and that the glass used to make his window was reinforced and made assault-proof. As soon as he got home, his phone rang and he looked at the caller ID which immediately put a smile on his lips. He picked the call and answered. "Hey Dee , what's up?" Andre was his best friend and personal assistant, who had stood by him since his mother had left him. "Nothing much, just wanted to know if you're home, your office door is locked from inside." "Yeah, just wanted to enjoy the last few hours of my birthday before it's over." "You of all people, Prince Derulo, master of the art of working, heir to the mighty throne of workaholism, you want to enjoy your birthday?" "You're crazy Dre and what's wrong in my enjoying my birthday." "Nothing, I was only concerned that the great Prince had forsaken his throne." Sometimes Derulo forgot that his friend was capable of teasing someone to tears. " Dre, you've finally lost it, anyway I was thinking of going to bed early as a birthday present to myself. I gotta go, see you when I see you." " I guess people just never change, o well, have a nice night." "You too." Derulo walked into his house and walked straight to the bathroom took his bath and walked his father's room, not knowing what to expect. He stopped at his father's door, took a deep breath and pushed the door. To his deepest surprise, the room was arranged neatly, looking like it bore no mysteries. He looked at the bedside table and found a letter. He opened it and found his father's write up. Simple and short as always. It simply read: "open the box you saw that day."
