At least it had avoided a potential international incident that I would have had to explain to the Elders back in France and for that, I was grateful. Initially, as soon as I found the keycard and that f*****g pack crest emblazoned on it, my wolf saw red and instantly Kian was to blame for everything, The one time that I had lost my grip on him was because he was convinced that Layla was in mortal danger and that the man who I had refused to end was responsible.
