SELENA’S POV
My ringing tone interrupted my sleep and I groaned as I turned to grab the phone from the nightstand.
“Hello,” I answered without checking who the caller was.
“Selena, I see you are enjoying your time in Ardyth,” a familiar voice said.
My eyes widened and I sat up to check who was calling even though I could already tell by the voice.
“Caius,” I replied.
He was calling my phone with his usual number when we agreed on communicating on the other phone he gave me.
I remembered that the phone has been hidden in my luggage since I arrived in Ardyth. He was probably calling my original line because he couldn't reach me on that one.
“Did you get anything?” He asked and that was when I remembered why Lucian had come to Ardyth in the first place.
