LUCIAN’S POV
“Why didn't you answer your phone? I was worried sick about you.” I yelled as Selena walked in behind Xavier. My gaze turned to Xavier and I asked, “Why didn't you pick up my calls too?”
He raised his hands up and shrugged before nodding toward Selena. I blinked in confusion when she didn't even pay attention to me.
“Thank you so much for today, Xavier. It was fun really doing this with you.” She smiled widely. “I hope we can get to do this another time.”
“Anytime, I'm always here.” Xavier smiled back.
Selena walked past me without sparing me a glance. “Selena,” I called but she ignored me and walked up the stairs. “Selena.” I raised my voice but still no response.
