*taylors POV* I sighed as I walked down the stairs to the kitchen of the pack house. Sometimes it sucked being the only one of my siblings to not have a mate. Tanner is mated to the wolf princess Morgan, tucker is mated to a coven leader named Gareth, and turner is mated to twins omega of the pack. As far as I knew, my mate would never show up at all. " hey babu how was your sleep?" My mother ashley as i look up to see her cooking breakfast for the pack while dad reads the new paper. "Good I guess" I would mumble quietly as I sat down pouring myself a cup of apple juice. " ready for your 19th birthday?" Dad said as she looked up from the paper smiling at me. "Sure I guess.." I said looking down trying to avoid eye contact. 'Just another miserable year without my mate. All my siblings found theirs and moved on to other places' taylor thought as she looked out the window. "Hey kid really for your first day of super U next week?" My aunt dallas said as she walked in to the kitchen. "I guess" I mumbled out not breaking contact with the outside world. And ma scarlet will be home soon" "Okay dear" mom said as she turned around to to continue to cook again. "Y'know ash since all the kids are grown maybe we can try for more~?" Dad said as she stood up and wrap her arms around mom from behind. Dad pleaded as she tried to reach for more before mom smacked her hand. "No now sit down" mom demanded causing dad to sit down and huff. "Whipped" I said with a smile while looking at dads face. "Just you wait ya s**t head" dad huffed out crossing her arms. "If I'm a shithead and your sired me doesn't that make you diaherra head?" I said in a sarcastic tone only to have mom turn around. "Both of you out now" she said pointing to the door causing us to both run out with dad running to the office upstairs and I out the front door only to bump into a SUV. "Let me guess tried to make a bad joke and mom kicked you out again" scarlet said as she walked around the SUV only to stop 2 inches from me. " more or less" I said as I shrugged. "surprised she hasn't left you out on the streets again" my elder sister said as she fixed the wrinkles in her shirt. "nah mama will never do that " I said with a chuckle. "we will see soon now move so I can go park" she said narrowing her eyes at me. I quickly moved out the way as she pulled forward into one of the parking spots next to the house. I then walk back inside and back up to my room to chill for the rest of the day. *next week* I woke up and got ready and got my bags packed. I walked down stairs dragging my suitcases with scarlet behind me with a few boxes. When we reached the truck dad was already in the driver seat as mom leaned in to kiss her. "Save it for later" scarlet said as she placed the boxes in the bed of the truck "Oh Hush" mom said walking to the back of the truck to glare at scarlet. "Actually I agree before dad and i start running late I wanna get there before the sign in closes" I said placing my bags into the back of the truck. "Aw my baby is all grown up" mom said has she came around the truck all teary eyed pulling me into a hug. "Aw jeez ma I'll be back for the holidays " I said hugging her back. "Oh shush now and you better bring home a girl or your mate" she said letting me go. "Alright ma" I said getting into the truck buckling my seatbelt in. "You ready kid?" Dad said as she pulled out onto the rode. "Yup can't wait to get there" I said looking out the window at the passing trees. "Now remember this in Uni superversity there will be many different species and some royalty" she said with a stern face. "I know dad" I said looking towards her." Wait where the university again?" "Good question. I don't know" she said rubbing the back of her neck. " how do you not know?" I said as i gave her a puzzled look. "I- well- wait weren't you supposed to find that out yourself?" She said pulling over to the side of the road. " mom said you were gonna do that" I said narrowing my eyes at her. "Well s**t then maybe she left a map incase something like this happened" she said reaching for the glove box. Once she opens the glove box she grabs the note that says the street number and state." Thank goddess for your mom" "Yup" I said closing the glove box as dad put the address into the GSP and drove off. *2 hours later* " wanna get lunch soon?" She said as well pull into a small town. "Sure. How about chic-fil-a?" I said pointing at the sign. "Alright" she said pulling into the parking lot and into the drive thru. Once we got our food we headed back onto the road heading towards Arkansas. *4 hours later* "Wake up kid we have an hour left before we get to the university" dad said waking me up. "Okay dad. Are you gonna get a hotel room tonight?" I said rubbing my eyes. "Yes because goddess forbid your mother getting mad at me for falling asleep on the road" she said with a chuckle. " alright and I already have my dorm room number so you can just go drop my stuff off while I'm at the registry". I said looking out the window.
