Melanie’s POV
My eyes flew to Ariana and Alice who were staring at us with amused smiles on their faces.
My whole body balked and shivered as he drew closer to me, walking slowly, like a predator approaching its prey. I shouldn't have responded to him but I knew if I allowed him to see how scared I was, he'd think me weak.
“You don’t plan to hurt me when we have an audience, do you?” I ask.
He had never physically hurt me so I knew that wasn’t what he wanted to do but I wasn’t going to stick and find out anyway.
