Melanie’s POV
I watched the Whipple procedure from the gallery of the OR and I had to admit. Even just watching, it felt pretty exhilarating.
Dr. Danny might be a douche-bag but he was good at his job, I could admit as much. Lydia also did a good job, she didn’t fumble with the instruments and remained calm when the patient coded for a few minutes.
She was going to make a very good nurse if only she could work on her attitude. Lydia's attitude was the biggest thing working against her but what could I do? I wasn't responsible for another person's actions and if she wanted to remain a b***h, then she could be my guest.
Thankfully, the patient survived the surgery. He had a long and painful recovery ahead of him, but overall, it was a job well done.
