There's a knock at my office door at the same time that Dani pokes her head in.
I just smile and shake my head at her. Why she bothers to knock, if she's just gonna open the door and come in anyway, is beyond me.
"Did you enjoy your visit with Lee and Brie?" I ask her.
"Yeah, they lost their s**t when I told them about the Moon Goddess and my being related to her. It was epic," she laughs then comes to sit on my lap and ruffles some of the papers on my desk around. "What's all this you're so busy with?"
I sigh. "Just trying to plan the next step in catching Brian. He's pretty much gone AWOL," I reply while rubbing my hand down my face in frustration.
"Having any luck?" she asks with a hopeful vo
