Marcus pov
“You are lost in thoughts again?” Will says
“I can’t help it.” I simply say still play around with my phone.
“Of course you clown, what did you really think you were doing when you know you won’t be able to handle the after math of it all”
It has been five month since Victoria left the pack and I have not heard anything from her, it is as if she just disappeared.
“I thought she wasn’t going to accept the rejection.”
“Can you hear yourself Marcus?” Will pressed on. Aside from been my beta, Will is also my best friend and the only person bold enough to point out my flaws to me.
“You wanted her beg you not to reject her just to suit your ego, you hurt her by going back to you ex why won’t she accept your rejection.”
“I know I messed up but I am yet to understand why she accepted my rejection so quickly.”
I have studied Victoria for some years before I found out that she is my fated mate. She is a strong and determined woman who would stop at nothing to keep what is hers, but what happened now? She couldn’t even fight for us. She was so quick to throw me away.
“It is good we are talking about this now, everyone are so tired.”
What is it Will?” I ask.
“What else would be the problem? Selena has be a pain to everyone ass since she stepped her feet into this pack. She has been trying to control everyone and we don’t like it.”
“Well, you all will have to deal with her because right now, I have even more important things to take care of.”
“What did you really see in that spoilt brat of a Selena? You know we won’t accept her as our Luna right?”
“Everyone will accept her because I am Alpha and my word is final.”
“Ohh I see. But come to think of it, why did you lie to Alpha Sky that Victoria went on a vacation when he asked about her?”
“I didn’t want him to know.”
“Exactly, you know Selena is a terrible person that’s why you haven’t announced the news of your divorce and tell everyone about your new girl.”
“It is none of their business.”
“I really do want to see your face when you tell your parents about your divorce. You do know they will be back soon.” Will says and I hate to admit that he knows a lot.
Mom are Dad are on a vacation and will be back in some weeks time which will give me enough time to search for Victoria.
Why am I still wanting to find her? After all she was the one who kidn*pped her sister who was my first love.
“You speak as if you haven’t messed up too.” I say to Will.
“Of course I admit I have and I do feel bad.
“Victoria was the beautiful queen, she had it all, the brain, personality not to even talk about her body.” He say and I am forced to slam my hands on the table in anger.
“You have been accessing my wife?”
“Your ex wife Marcus don’t forget you are divorced and it’s not like I was accessing her everyone know this except you who is blind.”
“Leave me alone Will, I’ve got to think about where she could possibly be. She hasn’t left the country because I made sure it gets reported to me once she tries to.”
“Well, I hope you do the right thing.” He says and leaves the office.
Why would Victoria accept my rejection so quickly? Or is there more things i don’t know about.
I can here some arguments between Claire and Wills, I really wonder when this two birds will be at peace.
“You need to tell him Claire, it is really important.” Will says as he opens the door to my office again.
“You bastard.” Claire snaps back trying to grab a piece of paper from him which she succeeds in doing.
“Hear Marcus you really need to see this.” He says as he thpoints at the paper and refrain Claire from snatching it back.
“You don’t deserve to know Marcus.”
“Please Claire don’t make this worst for him already”
“I know you’ll always support him and his stupid action because you are just like him.”
“Can’t you forget about the past just for once Claire?” I watch this two fight over and over for years now but I am not ready for this today not when this two seems to know something I don’t.”
“Quit this argument already and tell me what it is.” I say as I slam my hands hard on the desk that it scares Claire.
“Fine, you want to see it? Please yourself.” She say as she drop what looks as a test report. It belong to Victoria, I begin to read the content which now leaves me shock.
“Victoria is pregnant?”
