*Beep* *Beep* Groaning in the bed, tussling and turning, annoyed because of the loud sound caused by the alarm clock that reverberated throughout the room, the woman rolled to the side of the bed before brutally smashing the poor alarm clock, which was just set to wake her up. Ah, finally. Peace. She thought as she covered herself with the blanket again. The woman closed her eyes and relaxed. Only her calm breathing resounded throughout the room. BEEP! BEEP! BZZZT! Just after a few minutes of falling asleep she heard a loud noise again. Furrowing her brows, she kept her eyes shut close. Beeeep! Beeeep! Unable to endure it anymore, she threw open her eyes and stared at her phone on the bedside with bloodshot eyes. Just who was brave enough to dare disturb her sleep? Sunny Calling… As soon as she picked up the call, a loud scream entered her ears, causing her to distance the phone from her ears. “Raine! What time do you think it is!?” “Uh, Morning?” The person on the other side of the phone couldn’t help but curse in anger. “Excuse me!? It’s already 2 in the afternoon, Lady! We’ve been waiting here for hours and to think you’ve just woken up?” Raine casually looked at the time. Sunny wasn’t joking when she said it was already 2 in the afternoon. Sunny continued to nag, while Raine put the phone on speaker mode and started to wash up. Seriously, Sunny sounded like her mom. “My dear sister, I get it already. So could you please shut up for a moment, my ears are ringing from your nagging.” Raine spoke and went out of the bathroom she entered earlier and hanged up the phone. She opened her wardrobe to look for clothes to wear for their girl’s hang out. Even though Sunny was urging her hurry, Raine was taking her time and enjoying picking her clothes in a casual and relaxed manner. Raine took out a simple casual wear. She took a look at the mirror. She wore a simple blue blouse and black skinny jeans and a black sneakers. Her brown wavy hair was tied into a messy bun, and her face bare. Satisfied, she turned around from the mirror and got ready to leave. She took her phone and wallet with her. She looked around her place. It was messy, but who cares? This was her place and it’s not like guests would come. Even her sister and her friends rarely go to her place. Raine locked her place up and headed towards the elevator on her floor. Her place was one of the most expensive condominiums in the city. The security here was so tight so she chose to move to this place. It was not a big deal spending a bit of money in buying this place. She pressed the button that lead to the parking lot. Raine took out her car keys and pressed a button, making one of the car hidden in the corner light up and made a sound. She leisurely took her time to get to the car, as if she had all the time in the world, not knowing that her friends were already fuming in anger. With a smile on her face, she languidly drove to the mall. She was even beating down to the music. The mall was not that far or not that near, so it took a few minutes before she got there. She parked her car and got down, with a limited-edition bag in her hands. It was already in the car, and she was too lazy to bring it back to her home so she just left it in the car. There was nothing to steal in the bag anyway. Raine was not aware that the bag itself could be stolen and sold for millions. On the way to the place where her friends and sister were meeting up, many people couldn’t help but glance at Raine. Well, her looks were extremely eye catching even though she was only wearing simple clothes. Pearl Milk Tea. Raine soon noticed the store where her friends were currently at. She didn’t hurriedly walk over to them, but instead she walked in her own pace. One of her friends named, Liana noticed Raine walking leisurely, as if she was walking in the moon. She pointed at Raine as she spoke to her friends. “My Gosh, at the rate she walking, we would be able to travel around the world.” She rolled her eyes sarcastically. “The great empress really knows how to make people wait.” Apple said while sipping her milk tea. “Sigh, you know how Raine is like. We are already lucky if she managed to come in the meet up place one hour late.” Sunny said on the side, scrolling her phone. Alice chuckled. “At least she didn’t make us wait the whole day, literally.” A few minutes later, Raine finally came inside the store with a nonchalant expression. All her friends rolled her eyes at her as she spoke. “I’m here.” Raine sat down on a vacant chair just beside Sunny, her sister. She glanced at them before ordering a strawberry milk tea. “So what do we do today?” Raine asked. “Oh, please. We are already done hanging out. We are going to go home after drinking milk tea.” Sunny rolled her eyes. “Then what did you call me here for? I could’ve stayed at home and sleep.” Raine grumbled like a little child. “You little sloth, you still want to sleep after sleeping all day?” Apple sneered at her. Raine shook her head. She should have just ignored her sister’s call and slept. If not for the fact that her sister ‘begged’ her, she wouldn’t have come out of the room she stayed in for three days without coming out. “We’re going to buy some clothes for you for tonight’s dinner party.” As soon as Sunny said that, Raine instantly regretted coming out of her room.
