I sent everyone out of the kitchen after Declan left, and I was alone with Isra and she was trying to teach me how to toast, and make some fries.
I laughed at my failed attempt to make it and Isra had a smile on her face all throughout our time in the kitchen.
The apron I had around my neck was stained with flour, and when we were done, I lifted her up from her waist and made her sit on the island while I cleaned up the mess in the kitchen.
I wanted to know if she could use the mind link yet but I didn’t want to force her about it.
I did hope she would be able to use it, that way I would be able to know.
I cleaned up the kitchen and took her back to her room in my arms, her hands were wrapped around my neck and she was staring into my eyes as I took her through the stairs
