The Cave ( Last Chapter)

Now Sam had come at a crossroads. On one hand, he had to go back following the orders of his commander. On the other hand, he had to go to the cave and find his companions and complete his Everest submit. Sam said to Sherpa, you go back, I am going inside. Sherpa Ghanshyam said, "Sam,it is better to go inside than to send you in danger alone. If anything happened to you, then damn me." Then both of them went inside that icy cave together.

The cave was very long, for 10 minutes he went on walking inside slowly. Sherpa was leading and Sam was following him 25 steps behind. Even if someone attacks covertly, one of the two will be safe. His guess was correct, Sam saw in the light of her torch that someone had attacked the Sherpa's head from behind. It was a big creature that stood on two legs like humans. He ran to one side in panic due to Sam's sudden blow. Sherpa was slightly hurt. Still he stood up. When both of them went inside some more, they along with their three companions found another person who was from the first team, unconscious at one place. He tried to bring them to their senses. Then again the same creature attacked him from behind. But this time the Sherpa stood alert, he stopped his blows and attacked him with his spade. Then Major Rajeev and other people also came to their senses. Then he ran away from the attack of everyone together. Major Rajeev said that we have to get out of here. Sam said but where did our companions go sir? He said first let's go out and then we will talk. They all came out. When he came out, he saw that the creature was not around there. Then Rajeev said that first we have to go away from here or else he will come again. He went ahead with his campaign. After coming a long way from there, Major Rajeev stopped at one place and started telling everything to Sam.

Major Raheev said, when we came inside, after going inside for a long time, we found a soldier of the first team, Michael here. He told us that in the night they all stayed at the place where we were staying. Two of his companions had just gone missing in the night. But Sherpa Ram Prasad was outside at that time but due to being in the cover of a rock, that creature did not see him but Ram Prasad saw the creature. When he was afraid, he hid behind the same rock and hid there till morning. Then in the morning everyone went to look for their companions. They thought Sherpa Ram Prasad was also missing. But Sherpa went after them. It was a Yeti.

No one had seen Yeti, because it is very crowded during the summer season. That's why he doesn't come out because of fear. And many people die. Or if he goes missing, he eats the dead bodies lying here. But these days there are few people, so he picks up the sleeping people like this by hitting them. We came to know from Michael that he too had gone to the cave. But the Sherpa stopped outside and waited for them. But as soon as he reached his companions, all of them were attacked by Yeti from behind. They all fainted due to the darkness and sudden attack. After that nothing was known about what happened. He came to his senses when we came. That was the only talk I had with Michael, that's when we also attacked us from behind. Then you had come in. It seems that except the soldier Michael, he has eaten the rest of the people. If more time had passed, it might not have survived. And the Sherpa must have come back alone from there. But I told you to go out, why did you come in? Sam said, "Sir, I am a soldier, how can I leave my friends like this."

Major Rajeev said, "If you had not come today, we all would not have survived." He had also given information about the incident in the base camp earlier and with his team. On the other hand, Sherpa Ram Prasad also narrated the whole incident after reaching the base camp. He told that, when everyone did not come back from the cave, he tried to tell everything by contacting the base camp but the contact was cut. He hid behind the rock where he was hiding in the night. It was frozen for only 4 days. Then they all went ahead for their expedition. They still had to conquer Everest too

It was because of Sam that he was successful in reaching there. When will the yeti's food be cooked in that mysterious icy cave? On the summit, Sam together with everyone unfurled the tricolor flag of India.

From there he informed the base camp of his success. Then they all came back and reached the base camp just as they had come. All returned safely to the base camp, otherwise 1 out of 10 people who reached the summit could not return. Some people are killed in the return landing itself. From base camp, he made his way back. The reason for the mysterious disappearance of people on Mount Everest was known to everyone, and the reality of the Yeti in the tales and stories was also known to everyone.
