The Mysterious Cave ( Part 1 )
There is a highest mountain peak in the lap of Himalayas, which we all know by the name of "Mount Everest". It is a big center of attraction for mountaineers. There are two ways to reach Everest, one goes from Nepal and the other from Tibet. Many people climb Everest, some succeed, some fail, and some even lose their lives. Hundreds of climbers climb Everest mostly through Nepal. That too in the summer season, in which there are more novices, who climb with the help of Nepalese Sherpas. But some professional climbers climb only in autumn. So that they can avoid the troubles caused by the crowd. But in the last few years, more people started going missing. Mostly this happened during the winter season. Because at that time the climbers were also less, due to which they could not be known about them. Sam was also very fond of mountaineering. That is why he had conquered many small and big mountains by taking its training. he also aspired to conquer Everest one day. But it was not so easy for him as he was from a simple family. It was not easy for him by any means to bear such an expense.
But one day he received a letter from the army. Sam had earlier filled the form for the army job from the mountaineering quota of sports and also passed the written and physical examination. Whose interview he had also given, was just waiting for the result. The information in this letter was that now he has to join the unit only next month. he was very happy because he was getting the job he wanted. His posting was to be in the mountains, and that is what he wanted.
Soon a month passed and Sam joined his battalion in Uttarakhand. But he did not have to wait long for his adventure. A 15-member mountaineering team of the Army was going to climb Mount Everest. Sam was also elected a member of that team. He was the youngest soldier in the team. Soon the day also came when his team left for Kathmandu. Reaching Kathmandu, he left for the base camp. Base camp was also very high. It was quite cold there at this time, and anyway he had come there in autumn, As soon as they arrived, everyone started setting up their tents. His team of 15 members consisted of 12 climbers and 3 assistants, whose job was to keep an eye on the weather and inform them while staying at the base camp. Now everyone had to adapt themselves to the weather by staying in the base camp for 40 days. He had also called two Nepalese Sherpas for help. The means of earning most of the Sherpas are the mountaineers who have come to climb Mount Everest. Even most of the income of the Government of Nepal comes from these campaigns. Millions of Rupees Registered Per Climber.
Only then is the permission to climb. Slowly the days were passing and all the members of the team were getting adapted to the atmosphere. He had also started his preparations. Two teams were formed for the climb. Each team consisted of 6 climbers and a Sherpa. The Meteorological Department had three members, in which one was a senior officer and two were his assistants. The first going team was led by Major Ranjit Singh and the second team was led by Major Rajeev Singh was part of another party. The first team was to leave after two days and the second team was to leave after their arrival. Meteorologists told that the weather will be clear in the coming week, so the first team was allowed to go. It had been 4 days since the first team left. They had reached an altitude of about 22000 feet. But they lost contact on the same day. None of the team members could be contacted. What happened suddenly that no one could be contacted. This news caused a wave of concern among all the people present in the base camp.
