The Mysterious Cave ( Part 2 )

Although the second team was supposed to leave after the first team came back, but now they were also being sent as a rescue team.Along with conquering Everest, Sam was also going to save the companions who came along. After the permission of the meteorologists, the second team headed by Rajeev Singh left. Now all he knew was that his companions had gone missing at a height of 22000 feet. It was only a few hours after they left, that someone's message was received on the radio in the base camp. As soon as the voice was heard a little clearly, it came to know that the Sherpa of the first team was Ram Prasad. All he could say was " That cave ... in the cave ... , save ... " but then he lost contact with him. Couldn't talk much more than that. He sent a message on radio to Major Siddharth that the Sherpa of the first team was still alive and he was talking about some cave. The second team proceeded cautiously. On the way he had to cross many small, big and deep ravines. It was not easy to do them either. First the stairs are interconnected and then they are crossed by making a balance. Even a strong gust of wind can throw them into a gorge several hundred feet deep.

In this way, crossing the many passes on the way and avoiding the snow storms, they all reached the Khumbu Icefall. Which was located at a height of 17999 feet. It was not so easy to cross this Khumbu Ice Fall. It also takes a long time to cross it. Snow melts here too. Due to which the chances of snow storms are also high.

Here he had to face a severe snow storm. When the storm stopped, some people were as if frozen in snow. It also took a long time to find them. Somehow He crossed the Khumbu Ice Falls.

Everyone had proceeded safely. Four days had passed for them and they were now about to reach the place where the first team had gone missing. Now he had reached an altitude of 22000 feet. Coming there, he first started trying to find Sherpa Ram Prasad separately. Sam saw something moving behind a rock. As soon as he reached near the rock, then a small creature jumped on him from the rock. Seeing him jumping on him like this, he cried out in fear. Hearing his voice, everyone came running to him. When Major Rajeev saw a small but scary creature on top of him, he said to him, "Don't move, it can bite you." Then he threw it away from Sam with one of his sticks. Sam asked, what was this? Rajeev said it was a jumping spider. Quite poisonous. It is found in this area.

Now when everyone reached behind that rock, Sherpa Ram Prasad was found lying unconscious there. Perhaps he had fainted because of the extreme cold. He then gave a radio message to the base camp that he had found the Sherpa and sent a chopper soon. Tried to bring him to his senses. He still could not regain consciousness. Major Rajeev asked one of his soldiers to stay with him and go back with him. Leaving both of them there, everyone else started looking for themselves and their companions. After about 2 hours the chopper came and took them back. When it was night while searching for the companions, Major Rajeev said that he would set up his camp here. Then everyone set up their tents.

As soon as the morning dawned, Sam was the first to wake up. Sam noticed some big footprints around his tent. These were not the footprints of any human. Then he saw similar marks even more.

He showed this mark to Major Rajeev Then all of them started following those footsteps. Following those footprints, they all came a long way. Then he saw those footprints going up to a cave in front. It was a big snow cave. Seeing him, strange thoughts started coming in everyone's mind. Major Rajeev said that everyone will walk inside carefully. But he asked Sam to stay outside with Sherpa Ghanshyam. Said "if we could not come out in 1 hour then you go back to base camp from here". Then he himself went inside the cave with his two other companions. An hour had passed since they had gone but they did not come out. Now Sam seemed to have lost her dream of reaching the summit of Everest. Now he has to go back without submitting.
