I’ve dropped Lili off at the academy, and now, it’s time to get down to business.
Now comes the real part of the plan, the one everything is depending on.
I have more than enough Gammas keeping Lili safe. Nobody is going to get anywhere near her, not unless one of those guys has a death wish. She’s still armed, too, in case something bad happens, but I doubt that they’ll try to hurt her at the academy. That’s why they wanted to take advantage of the hunting expedition.
I head home. I shift and arrive in record time. There’s no time to waste. As soon as I walk through the door, one of the maids asks me where I’ve been and whether I’m hurt.
“I’m fine,” I assure her. “Don’t worry about a thing. Thank you for your concern.”
I head upstairs to change before I meet my father. M
