At just 9 years old, Yuju’s life was destroyed. On her birthday, she watched her parents die, and the only family left — her own aunt — called her a devil, blamed her for their death, and threw her away. Alone in an orphanage, everyone feared her name.

Years later, a wealthy family adopts her. She grows up beautiful, smart, and strong… but never forgets. Now an adult, Yuju is no longer the scared little girl. She hides her true identity, returns to the city, and swears one thing: I will find the killer. I will clear my name. And I will make everyone know the truth.

A dark secret, a dangerous search, and a hero who stands by her side — ready to protect her, or die trying.

EPISODE 1: Alone But Seeking Revenge
Episode 1 The house was filled with bright lights, colorful balloons, and sweet laughter. Today was very special — it was little Yuju’s 9th birthday. She was wearing a pretty pink dress, her hair tied neatly with a ribbon, and her eyes sparkled with happiness. Her parents stood beside her, smiling warmly. They loved their only daughter more than anything in the world. "Happy birthday, my sweet baby," her father said softly, gently patting her head. Her mother clapped her hands happily. "Make a wish before you blow out the candles, Yuju! Wish for anything you want, and it will come true." Yuju closed her eyes tight, clasped her small hands together, and whispered her wish silently. Then, with a big breath, she blew out all nine candles at once. Everyone cheered. Her father picked up the knife to cut the delicious chocolate cake, and her mother was about to hand her the first piece… KNOCK! KNOCK! Suddenly, a loud, sharp knock echoed from the front door. The happy atmosphere in the room vanished instantly. Everyone looked at each other in confusion. Who could be visiting so late at night? "Stay here, both of you. I’ll go check," her father said, putting the knife down. He walked calmly toward the door, thinking it might be a neighbor or a friend. Yuju and her mother waited, smiling nervously. But seconds later — BANG! A terrifying, loud sound exploded through the house. It was not a knock. It was the sound of a gunshot. Yuju froze in her place. Her mother’s face turned pale with pure fear. She grabbed Yuju’s hand tightly, her fingers trembling. "Yuju… listen to me carefully. Run to your room right now! Lock the door, hide under your bed, and do not make a single sound. No matter what you hear… do not come out. Promise me!" Before Yuju could even ask what was happening, her mother pushed her gently toward the hallway. Scared and confused, the little girl ran as fast as she could into her bedroom, slammed the door shut, and turned the lock. She crawled under her bed, covering her ears with her hands, her heart beating wildly. Silence filled the house for a few seconds… and then, another gunshot rang out — louder, closer, and more painful than before. CRACK! She heard her mother scream in agony. "Ahhh… please… spare us… my daughter… my baby…" Tears started rolling down Yuju’s cheeks. She was crying silently, her whole body shaking with fear. She wanted to run out and save her parents, but she remembered her mother’s words: Do not come out. "Mom… Dad…" she whispered between sobs. Then, everything went quiet. Too quiet. Yuju waited… and waited. Minutes felt like hours. Her fear grew bigger and bigger. Finally, unable to bear the silence anymore, she slowly crawled out from under the bed. She unlocked her door and stepped out into the dark hallway. "Mom?" she called softly, her voice trembling. "Mom, are you okay? Dad?" No answer. She walked slowly toward the living room. And what she saw there made her small world break into a million pieces. Her father lay motionless on the floor near the open door. Her mother was a few steps away, her clothes stained with red, her eyes still open but empty. There was no one else there — the killer had already disappeared into the night. "NOOOOOO!!!!" Yuju screamed with all her strength, falling to her knees beside them. She shook her mother’s arm, crying uncontrollably. "Wake up! Please wake up! Mom! Dad! Don’t leave me alone! Please!" Her loud cries woke the neighbors. They came running over, shocked and terrified at the sight. Someone immediately called the police. Sirens wailed loudly outside as officers rushed into the house. They found a tiny, crying girl sitting in a pool of sadness, holding onto her parents’ cold hands. Just then, her Aunt — her mother’s own sister — pushed through the crowd and ran inside. When she saw what had happened, she screamed and fell to the floor, crying, "My sister! What happened to my sister?! Who did this?!" She rushed over to Yuju and hugged her tightly… but that hug didn’t feel like love. It felt cold and wrong. But the very next day, everything changed. The love turned into hate. Her aunt’s eyes were full of anger and madness. She grabbed Yuju roughly, dragging her out of the house. "You are a devil!" she shouted, loud enough for everyone to hear. "You killed my sister! You brought bad luck to this house! You are a monster! Get out! I don’t want a devil in my home!" "But… Auntie… I didn’t…" Yuju tried to explain, tears streaming down her face. "I love Mom and Dad… I didn’t do anything…" "LIAR!" Her aunt screamed, pushing her hard onto the street. "Everyone says it! You are cursed! You killed them! Get out of my sight!" Without mercy, her aunt threw her things out and took her straight to the City Kids’ Hostel, an orphanage for children without parents. She handed Yuju over to the staff with disgust. "Take this girl. Her parents are dead because of her. She is a devil. Keep her away from me forever."
