Celestial waited patiently for Angel to finish her phone call. But as the minutes ticked by, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Who was on the phone? And why did Angel seem so upset? Finally, Angel returned, looking troubled.
"Everything okay?" Celestial asked, concern etched on his face.
Angel hesitated before speaking. "That was my ex-boyfriend," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Celestial's eyes widened in surprise. "What did he want?" he asked, trying to sound calm.
Angel took a deep breath before revealing a shocking secret. "We have a daughter together," she said, her eyes welling up with tears.
Celestial's world was turned upside down. He had no idea Angel had a child, let alone a daughter with an ex-boyfriend. He felt like he'd been punched in the gut, but as he looked into Angel's eyes, he saw fear and vulnerability.
Without hesitation, Celestial took Angel's hand, his heart overflowing with love and support. "It's okay," he said softly. "We'll face this together."
Angel broke down in tears, and Celestial pulled her close, holding her as she cried. As they stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, Celestial knew that his love for Angel was unconditional.
"I want to meet our daughter," Celestial said, his voice filled with conviction.
Angel's eyes sparkled with hope. "Really?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Celestial nodded. "Really," he said, smiling. "We'll do this together, as a family."
