Episode 1
Scene: Isabella and Viktor meet in secret at an old, abandoned church. The tension between their families is rising, and they know their love is forbidden.
Isabella:
(Turns away, biting her lip)
“We shouldn’t be here. If anyone finds out...”
Viktor:
(Steps closer, his voice low but determined)
“I don’t care. Let them find out. I’m tired of hiding, Isabella.”
Isabella:
(Shakes her head, her voice trembling with emotion)
“You don’t get it. If my father knew about us, it would mean war—again.”
Viktor:
(Grabs her hand, pulling her closer)
“I’m done living under their rules. You think I don’t know what’s at stake? I’d burn this whole city to the ground before I let them take you away from me.”
Isabella:
(Softly, looking into his eyes)
“And what if it’s me who pulls away?”
Viktor:
(Leans in, his breath warm against her skin)
“Then I’ll chase you to the ends of the earth, bella. You’re the only thing in this world worth fighting for.”
This dynamic would combine intense romantic tension with the dangerous underworld of mafia conflicts, providing plenty of drama and high stakes.
Scene: Isabella pulls away, struggling with her emotions as she knows the weight of their families' rivalry. The soft moonlight filters through the broken windows of the church, casting shadows on their faces.
Isabella:
(Steps back, her eyes filling with tears she refuses to let fall)
“You think love is enough, Viktor? Love won’t stop the bullets. Love won’t protect you when my father finds out.”
Viktor:
(His voice hardens, fists clenched at his sides)
“I’ve been dodging bullets my whole life, Isabella. What’s one more? I’m not afraid of him, or anyone else.”
Isabella:
(Grits her teeth, trying to keep her composure)
“You don’t understand. I’ve seen what he’s capable of. He’ll never stop until you’re dead—both of us. This isn’t some fairy tale where we can just run away.”
Viktor:
(Takes a step closer, his voice soft but firm)
“I’m not asking for a fairy tale. I’m asking for you. I’m asking for a chance, Isabella. To stand by my side, to fight with me. Because without you, I’ve got nothing.”
Isabella:
(Closes her eyes, her heart torn between love and fear)
“I wish it were that simple. I wish... we could be something more than a secret.”
Viktor:
(Gently tilts her chin up, forcing her to look at him)
“We are more. We always have been. You feel it too, don’t you? That fire, that connection. It’s bigger than them, bigger than this war.”
Isabella:
(A tear slips down her cheek, but she doesn’t pull away this time)
“I do... but I’m scared, Viktor. Scared of losing you.”
Viktor:
(Brushes the tear away with his thumb, his voice softening)
“You won’t lose me. I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere. Not without you.”
Scene shifts: The distant sound of footsteps echoes through the church. They both turn, their moment shattered by the threat of discovery.
Isabella:
(Panics, grabbing Viktor’s arm)
“Someone’s coming. We have to go!”
Viktor:
(Nods, but doesn’t let go of her hand)
“I’ll meet you tomorrow. Same place.”
Isabella:
(Hesitates, glancing back at him before slipping away into the shadows)
“Be careful, Viktor. Please...”
Viktor:
(Watches her leave, his voice barely a whisper)
“I will. For you.”
This scene builds on the tension of their love, contrasted by the dangerous environment they are trapped in. It highlights both their emotional connection and the ever-present danger surrounding them.
Scene: The following day, Viktor sits in a dimly lit room in the Vasiliev family mansion. His father, Dimitri Vasiliev, a cold and calculating mafia boss, stands by the window, smoking a cigar. Viktor knows what’s coming—another order, another bloody task to keep the family in power.
Dimitri:
(Without turning around, his voice commanding and distant)
“You’ve been distracted lately, Viktor.”
Viktor:
(Leaning back in his chair, trying to remain calm)
“I’ve been handling everything just fine.”
Dimitri:
(Finally turns to face him, eyes narrowed)
“Handling things? The Morenos are making moves. There’s talk in the streets—whispers of betrayal. You think that’s ‘handling things’?”
Viktor:
(Tenses, knowing his father’s probing for weaknesses)
“We have everything under control. The Morenos won’t touch us.”
Dimitri:
(Takes a long drag of his cigar, exhaling slowly)
“Don’t underestimate them. Isabella’s father, Raul Moreno, is no fool. He’ll do whatever it takes to protect his legacy. And if he finds out about any weakness... he’ll strike.”
(Eyes Viktor, voice dropping)
“Tell me, son, do you have any weaknesses I should know about?”
Viktor:
(Meets his father’s gaze, his voice steady)
“None that you need to worry about.”
Dimitri:
(Smirks, stepping closer to him)
“Good. Because if you were to show any weakness, especially for someone from the other side... it would be your downfall.”
(Leans in, voice dark)
“And I don’t tolerate downfalls in this family, Viktor.”
Viktor:
(Clenches his jaw, refusing to flinch under his father’s scrutiny)
“I know the rules.”
Dimitri:
(Straightens, satisfied for now)
“Remember that. I’m sending you to handle a shipment tonight. Make sure it goes smoothly.”
(Pauses, as if weighing his words)
“Oh, and Viktor... stay away from the Morenos. Especially their daughter.”
Scene Shift: Later that night, Viktor waits in the shadows of a dockyard. The shipment is due to arrive, but his mind is elsewhere—on Isabella. He pulls out his phone, his fingers hovering over her name in his contacts.
Viktor:
(To himself, frustrated)
“Damn it, Isabella. You’ve got me all twisted up.”
Suddenly, he hears footsteps behind him. He quickly slips the phone back into his pocket and turns, hand on his gun.
Nikolai:
(One of Viktor’s closest allies and confidants, appears from the shadows)
“Easy there, boss. It’s just me.”
Viktor:
(Relaxes, but barely)
“What’s the status?”
Nikolai:
(Nods toward the ship approaching in the distance)
“Shipment’s on schedule. But there’s something else you should know.”
Viktor:
(Eyes narrow, sensing trouble)
“What?”
Nikolai:
(Leans in, his voice low)
“The Morenos... they’ve been sniffing around. Word is Raul’s looking to make a move. And there’s talk about his daughter. Some say she’s been seen with someone... from our side.”
Viktor:
(Heart skips a beat, but he keeps his face impassive)
“Rumors. Nothing more.”
Nikolai:
(Shrugs, watching Viktor closely)
“Maybe. But if Raul finds out... it won’t be pretty.”
Viktor:
(Turns away, his voice cold)
“Let him come. We’re ready.”
