Chapter 6
Scarlet seemed to have been a good color choice as all three of Melody’s bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their gowns, and with Mrs. Schumacher’s final adjustments, they all fit perfectly as well. She was enjoying watching Delaney, Olivia, and Valerie twirl around in front of the mirrors so much, she’d almost forgotten she needed to try her own gown on one last time.
“I love how full the skirts are,” Valerie was saying. “I was really happy you didn’t go with something more fitted through the hip area.”
“Yeah, and the U-neckline isn’t low-cut either,” Delaney noted. “So many people complain about ugly bridesmaids dresses, but I think I could actually wear this again someday.”
“I know! When you and Josh get married, you loan it to Melody, and we’ll wear ours again,” Olivia teased
