I have never actually fought a vampire before, but I do know what to do. I was too little when we were attacked by them. And as I mentioned before, the pack has never been successfully attacked, thanks to Kai.
I stay where he asks me too, and watch him move. When he is about to lunge at the vampire, something inside me stirs. I can't explain this feeling. I can feel that he doesn't mean us harm. I feel the need to protect him. Everything happened so fast, I don't even know how I did it.
