I stayed about an hour more at the cafe before I went home. I couldn't concentrate on my book because of that guy. I honestly couldn't wait to see him tomorrow because it would be like the last time before I left. On my way home I texted him and told him I looked forward to seeing him.I turned my phone on silent because Sarah didn't like the dinging noise. When I reached home I reached home I saw my stepmother Sarah was getting into her car and drove off. She was most likely on her way to go pick up James from the airport. When I got to my room I felt my butt vibrating it was Daisy calling me and
asked "please tell me your alI was all packed up and ready to go from tomorrow"
I stated a simple "yes"
She responded "After graduation a bunch of us is going for lunch wanna come ?"
"not really I have something else going on actually "I said thinking about Alex
she was quiet for a minute "okay well before we drive off into the sunset there is a yacht party happening and I really wanna go. I mean when is the next time you think we are gonna have a opportunity to be on a yacht?"
"maybe never actually" I giggled "lets go! I wanna have a good time before we go"
" Honestly never thought you'd agree to something like this ! Im so excited. oh my gosh the guy who invited me is super hot too! He's a little older though but he said him and his brother was getting ready to go back home and told me to bring a friend. Im sure his brother is hot too. We are gonna have such I good time z!" Daisy pushed out "anyways......okay I'll bring you the outfit for graduation and for the party"
"okay that sounds good I will see you at the crack of dawn" I said
"Well get some sleep I'll pick you up tomorrow, bye. I love you " Daisy said and hung up
I took my shower and went to the kitchen to see what there was to eat opened the fridge and surely nothing I grabbed a water, crackers, and peanut butter and sat down ate them enjoying the silence. I heard the front door open and heard Sarah talking a mile a minute, here we go
"Zynx! I hear I made it back just in time for your graduation tomorrow? wow you're growing up so fast I should've taken you on a few trips with me!" James said
James was such a laid back person his sky blue eyes and his graying blonde hair. For him to be 52 his hair was extremely full and and he didn't have that many wrinkles,just laugh lines He was extremely fit as well.I knew he didnt like his wife that much but he was always pleasant to me when she wasn't around. He took me on shopping sprees, the movies, or lunch dates when he was home. He really was a great guy I wasn't sure why he put up with Sarah but he did
I smiled hearing his voice "yup all grown up"
"what time should I be there? What color are you wearing so I can match? I m excited for you did you get your braces off ?
I smiled showing my teeth " two weeks ago. still gotta wear my retainer though, not sure what kind colors im wearing daisy is bring me and outfit"
"what the hell are you eating? I got your favorite on the way home Chinese food" he said sitting down beside me placed the bag on the table
"your the best!" I said and hugged him. finally some real food.
when I looked over at Sarah she did not look happy, in fact she was slightly red.
"We are both so glad to have you home" Sarah said clearing her throat "so glad your home and finally taking some time off to spend with me, sorry I mean us" she said shooting draggers at me
We ate talking and catching up I noticed that Sarah was constantly scowling at me and I ignored it enjoying time with James. I was starting to get sleepy I stood up and said my goodnights and reminded James what time to be at the ceremony since I was catching a ride with Daisy .I went upstairs and instantly went to sleep as soon as my head touched the pillow.

I sat in my hotel room freshly showered thinking about her.I was wondering why she didn't text me back.I knew everything about her from her being adopted what her favorite candy was and that was all from smelling her. I was getting irritated the fact she wasn't answering she was most likely asleep . I walked up to the rooftop I needed fresh air. It was the perfect weather windy and dark out, just how I liked it. I couldn't change here id wait till tomorrow to shift and stretch my wings . I knew tomorrow was going to be a interesting day to say the least but this world with these humans had been quite boring I was ready to go home where things were exciting and I could use my power at full strength and wasn't limited.I sighed awhile after I walked back to my room laid down and tried to go to sleep but I couldn't all I could think about was Zynx. Tonight was going to be a long night.
