Chapter 2

 Alexander

  I knew it was time for me to return home to my kingdom but I knew my father wouldn't allow it without a wife. After all I knew that's what I was sent here for I thought as I tied my shoes. I'd been here for three months already and I still haven't found her. Ive had many women to choose from but to take home to my father? definitely not. I decided to call my father for help. I knew he would jump at the opportunity to help me finally start a family. I heard the line ring once before he answered 

"have you found the one your bringing back son?" I was about to reply when I was cut off 

"obviously not if your calling me.Your in luck it just so happens Saturday will  be your only opportunity.There will be 3 women on the yacht heading home  choose one... your brother will also be on the boat as well. No more chances Alexander you've had plenty of time to find a wife instead you've been spending your time with drunken whores. Im getting tired of waiting for you to settle down your thirty two years old. You know where to be, actually make it Friday I want you guys home by Monday." before I could respond to anything he hung up. 

I smirked  my nights with drunken whores as he would call it would come to an end. I really started to chuckle out loud, god I could wait to return home. Well one of these women were going to be my wife so no more whores when I get home.Hopefully a mid-day run would get me out of this hotel room and soothe me. I stood up and sighed this was gonna be a long week knowing in 3 days i'd be on a boat making my way back home I thought to myself. As I reached the front desk the older lady greeted me "Good afternoon Mr Card, how can I help you?"  

"I need you to change my reservation, looks like this is my last week here"  I replied 

"your father just called and did it for you sir" she smiled at me but I turned and walked out of the hotel and started my run going where ever my legs would take me. 

Three miles into my run I caught a scent that nearly knocked me off my feet.What the hell was that I thought to myself I slowed down and the smell got stronger, it was like my body was being pulled towards something and I let it. It took me to a café? Was I smelling baked goods....no I wasn't I was smelling her ... I spotted her through the window she was the only one in sitting down her back was to me but those long brown cascades were hard to miss. I entered the cafè without a second thought. as I passed her table I noticed she was engrossed into a book, she didnt even bother to look up .I ordered a black coffee and sat across from her. She looked up at me and id saw how beautiful her eyes were.Everything about her screamed innocence but I knew I was going to have her. she began to look at me quizzically "sorry im Alex" I said to her.

Zynx

I looked at this stranger that sat across from me and my god was he beautiful his silver eyes stared into mine and I was at a loss for words .

"...um im Zynx"I stammered out

 I couldn't get over how handsome he was. His took off the hood of his jacket and I realized he was even more handsome then id thought his hair was slicked back his facial features were strong  and and smiled at me maybe because id been staring for so long he was probably thinking I was weirdo. 

"take a picture it will last longer" Alex said

 " sorry!"  I chuckled 

oh god, If I wasn't blushing before I definitely was now 

"what's up I mean how can I help you" I stammered 

"let me take you out tomorrow ?" wow okay straight to the point with this guy .

 "sure" I said 

he stood up opened his wallet and left a card for me  

"call me " he said and walked away. 

Not only was Alex extremely handsome but that man was built like a greek god. Now for the rest of the night I was going to be thinking about him. Well tomorrow was my last day so in this town anyways might as well make the best of it. I looked back at where he was sitting and noticed he left his coffee that he didnt even bother to drink.
