My First Day

BRIANNA'S P. O. V

After leaving Mr Michael Anthony Craine's office, Mr Andrew Craine showed me my office. My office was next to the CEO office. it was beautifully decorated with white and grey colours. There were white couches, grey carpet and the window was glass. Inside the office you could see the streets. I was introduced to some of the workers on the fifteenth floor. They were all males and this means I will be the only female working on the floor. After Mr Craine showed me around we went to meet the HR.

"Hello Mr Wilson" Mr Craine greeted

"Hello sir please how may I help you" Mr Wilson asked

"please meet Miss Brianna Bennett she is the new secretary to the president" Mr Craine introduced me

"Hello Miss Bennett please nice to meet you" Mr Wilson greeted with a smile

"Hello Mr Wilson nice to meet you too" I replied

Mr Wilson offered us a seat and we discussed my salary and allowances. I got to know that I will be earning one hundred thousand dollars a month and will get ten thousand dollars every time I work over time. After further discussion, we left the HR department and returned to Mr Craine's office.

"Sir thank you very much for giving me a chance" I said

"Miss Bennett I hope you will do a good job for the company" he said with a smile

"Sir I will do my best" I assured him

His phone beeped. He looked at his phone for a while

"Miss Bennett you can go home and start work tomorrow. Your duties and responsibilities and been sent to you via email" he said

I thanked him and left

When I got home I checked my email and read everything the company has sent me. I also made some research about Mr Michael Anthony Craine. I typed his name on my phone but didn't find anything good. I did my personal chores and went for shopping. I prepared for tomorrow. The whole night, I kept thinking about what my first day will be like and Mr Michael Anthony Craine's beautiful face. I felt nervous throughout the night.

I woke up earlier than ever for the first time. I went to the washroom and did my morning rituals. I checked my phone and realised that I have gotten a message and it was from the Boss.

"be at my house at seven o'clock and please check your email. Michael Anthony Craine" I read

I checked my email and saw that the Boss has sent me his personal rules and regulations. I rushed out of the house because it was already six thirty.

I arrived at the address that was sent to me and I couldn't believe my eyes. The boss's house was huge and there were guards on every outside corner of the house. I went to one of the guards.

"Sir please good morning my name is Brianna Bennett and I am Mr Michael Anthony Craine's new secretary" I said

He called one of his female colleagues. She took me to a room and searched through my bag after she made a phone call. The main gate opened automatically. I was asked to enter. I entered and was escorted to the main house.

I have a admit the house looked like a palace. I entered and a man who I think was the butler offered me a seat.

Few minutes later I saw Mr Andrew Craine coming down.

"Good morning Miss Bennett" he greeted

"Good morning Mr Craine. Please kindly tell your father that I am here" I said

"He will be down soon" he replied

Mr Craine gave me some documents and told me his father needed them this morning. He asked the butler to help me with whatever I needed. I was shy but I told the butler I haven't eating my breakfast yet.

The butler was generous enough to take me to the kitchen to serve me something to eat. I have to admit that if there is Paradise on earth then it is this mansion. The kitchen was amazing and everything looked expensive. I returned to the place I was sitting after eating and thanking the butler.

I looked up and saw Mr Michael Anthony Craine coming downstairs gently.

"oh my God he is so beautiful. I have never seen a man so beautiful" I said to myself

He looked at me for a while and nodded slightly to me.

"G-G-G-Good morning s-s-sir" I greeted nervously

"Good morning Miss Bennett" He responded

My heart was beating fast. I can't believe there is a man like him in the world. He looked physically perfect.

"Good morning Dad" his son greeted

"Good morning son" he responded and turned to me.

"Miss Bennett what are my schedules for today" he asked

I quickly took my iPad and read his schedules to him nervously. A man walked in and informed Mr Michael Craine that his car was ready.

"Alright. son see you at the office" Mr Michael Craine said

He made his way to the door and I quickly followed him. Three cars were packed in front of the house. One of the men opened the backseat door of the middle car which was a Rolls Royce for Mr Michael Craine. He got in and the man directed me to sit beside Mr Craine.

"please use the short root" Mr Craine said

Throughout the drive he kept working on his phone. He didn't say anything to me or anyone.

"Mr Craine please why did you send me a message to come to your house" I asked

He said nothing

"Sir please I am talking to you" I said again. He still kept quiet.

I stared at him for a while. He acted like he didn't hear me. I asked myself why he was giving me a cold shoulder. Soon we got to a gang hangar. Mr Craine's door was opened for him. He got out and headed towards a private jet. I got out and quickly followed him. I saw that it was written on the private jet MAC. I quickly run after him. He got inside and I did the same. The plane soon set off. I realised that we were going to a different city.

We soon arrived at a place I didn't know. Mr Craine walked out and I followed him. We got in to a car and it set off. I was feeling irritated because he wasn't talking or saying anything to me. The car stopped in front of a huge building and we got down. We entered and some people who looked like the staff rushed to greet Mr Craine. He got to the elevator and walked in. I tried going in but I was stopped by one of his bodyguards. He opened another elevator for me and we got in.

"Please tell me why you stopped me from getting in to the elevator with Mr Craine" I asked

"The elevator you tried getting in is for the Boss and apart from him, nobody is allowed to use it" he said

I was about to ask him another question when the elevator stopped. We went out and I followed the Boss to a conference room. Everyone stood up as soon as he walked in. He sat at the head table and I sat next to him.

"Miss Bennett please take note of everything" he said

It was when the meeting began that I remember it was the first thing on his schedules today.

During the meeting, I realised that he was not only beautiful. He is intelligent and very smart too. He answered every question and solved every problem like a PRO.

The meeting lasted for about two hours and I was really bored. When the meeting ended, we returned to our city. I spent my first day working on files. I didn't see Mr Craine for the entire day since he was in his office. He didn't call me neither did I go there.

After I was done working on some files, I went to his office to deliver the files. I knocked and he responded. I nervously entered and walked towards his desk.

"Excuse me sir please here are the documents. I am done working on them" I said

"put them down" he said without looking at me

I placed them in the table and turned to leave but he cleared his throat. I turned around

"Miss Bennett please email these messages to the department heads" he said calmly

"Mr Craine please can I do it after eating? I am very hungry" I said

He stared at me for a while but don't say anything.

I walked out after a while

"This man is really beautiful but he is very arrogant and mean" I said to myself

I sat down and sent the email to every department head. it was six when I completed. I received an email and it was from Mr Craine. He asked me to work on some files again.

"Damn it this man is really heartless" I said to myself.

It was nine in the evening when I finished. I sent the documents to my boss.

"Sir please it's nine can I go home" I asked nervously

He gave me a slight nod.

I went to my office and called Antonella to pick me up. I took my bag and went out of the company.

Thirty minutes later, she arrived and I went home. I arrived home and quickly ate something and retired for the day.

My first day was really hectic.
