THE LIGHT OF KNOWLEDGE

Most children come into an early childhood classroom with relationship mostly limited to family members.lncluding me every children will be typically shy and anxious about their first school experience.From this shyness,our teachers build up us to become an effective, hardworking and talented student.Yes,teachers hold the highest regard for students after parents.Teachers have an important role in building the personality of students and the relationship they develop with them, determines the student's academic and personal growth.Mother gives birth to us and a teacher gives life to us.Teachers guide us,support us,and inspire us,teach us.A teacher takes a hand,Opens a mind touches a heart. Teachers are the soul of God .The God will forgive us for our faults.Like that our teachers also forgive us and help us to avoid our bad doings and thinking.Here is a story which tells us about a student named surdas who had a quality of getting angry for a small thing. "Surdas was an eager student who wanted to learn about spirituality.He met a guru who accepted him as his disciple.The guru found that surdas was hampered by this quality of getting angry easily,Which prevented him for learning.Thus,the guru decided to make surdas shed his anger. The guru said,"Dear students,chant the god's name during all your activities for one month then take a bath and come back to me."Surdas followed the Guru's instructions and the day after the month was over,he went to meet his guru.On this way to Guru's Ashram a sweeper on his clothes.Surdas got angry and scolded the sweeper, "What are you doing,you fool?Now l Have to go back wash and dry these clothes and bath again! Such a waste of time."The guru had observed the scene and when surdas reaches the Ashram he told him, "Dear Surdas you are not ready for further spiritual practice chant the god's name during all your activities for another one month,take an bath end come to see me." After a month, he eagerly went to his Guru's Ashram and the same thing was repeated. Surdas again became really angry and blamed the superior. After bathing,he met this guru who asked Surdas to chant God's name for one more month.One month passed and this time the same incident happened when Surdas went to meet guru.However,this time Surdas addressed him softly saying, " Thank you.You are my master you have helped me to overcome my anger." The sweeper felt bad for his action.This time as surdas approached his guru's hermitage,he could see his guru standing in front of hermitage welcoming him.Guru told Surdas that he is now ready to reach him. This story reminds us that only a teacher knows what a student is lacking off and can give solution. As a student we must have faith in teacher's words and follow them with devotion." Knowledge is understanding and awareness of something. It refers to the information, facts,skills,and wisdom acquired through learning and experience in life. Knowledge is a very wide concept and has no end. "A good teacher is a candle it consumes itself to light the way for other."
